Explain how you can work cooperatively as an advocate for improving personal, family and community health

There are many ways in which you can work together in improving personal, family, and community health. "As members of a society, it is our responsibility to work collaboratively to help improve personal, family and community health. This is accomplished through partnerships within the community" (4). Getting involved in any shape or form can help lots. "Partnerships can enhance community engagement in pro- jects, increase community awareness of the issues being ad- dressed and establish a framework for the continued support of services that support child health in communities" (4). Interact with other adults as well as your family to see what other ways you can get involved. Work on voluntary work and community activities as well as self-confidence and you'll be able to make a difference easily in helping your communities and your own health.

Describe a health message or communication technique in which you adapt a health message to a specific target audience

A health communication technique in which I'm helping give a health message to a target audience starts with the community work. I have to choose my audience. If I chose to help at our community nursing center, I can't talk to them like I'm talking to kindergarteners. If I'm helping little kids I need to relate to them, get on their level (literally by kneeling) and let them know what's right. Being a good person in general, not just doing voluntary work can set out a health message to your own peers.
