You can spend money before you have it. It also helps you establish credit so you can get larger loans down the line. On the other hand, there are high interest rates, and it's easy to overspend when you don't see the immediate consequences. This can lead to debt that's hard to get out of.

None of the cards have grace periods, but the Chase card has the highest annual, transaction, and over the limit fees. Chase has a rewards program, however, that you get one point for every dollar spent, and it triples when you travel worldwide. For someone who travels a lot, this might be a good choice.

The Bank of America card has no annual fee, and 1% cash back on everything, which triples on gas. For the average person, these would be the best benefits over the Blue Cash Preferred American Express card because that has no benefits after the first three months.

Chase Saphire ended up being the best because it had the lowest interest rates. If you travel, the rewards are the best too due to the triple points anywhere foreign. The one stipulation to this is the fact that you must have a great credit score to get this card, if your score is average or below average chase will not issue you the card.
