Olivia's grandmother lived in a small house in a little neighborhood in Medford. Her friend Nora lived next door. Almost every morning the two would sit on Nora's front porch and drink coffee before they started their day.

Olivia lived in Oregon before she came to Medford. She came back to Medford because the police found a part of terry's jawbone, so they had a funeral for him. That's why Olivia left Oregon to come back. She thought that she would only stay for the funeral and then go back to Oregon, but Nora needed her help getting around Medford to help her. Also after the funeral, Olivia wanted to see if she could find out more about her parents because she was there when they were murdered, but it didn't help that she was only three years old when they died.

Towards the end of the book her friend Duncan invites her to a BBQ party that they have every year. About half of Medford attends the party.

Olivia is determined to reclaim her identity. She decided that she wouldn't let the tragedy of what happened to her parents costume her entirely.

I loved your book, The Girl I Used To Be. I liked what the story was based on and that it was kind of like a read murdered mystery. I think that you could have added more to the ending to make it more interesting. Other than that, it was really good.

A theme for the book, The Girl I Used To Be is trying to reclaim what happened in the past. Olivia was only three years old when her both of her parents were murdered. After fourteen years still, know one knows who the murder was. Before Olivia went into foster care after her parents died she had a different name. That name was Ariel Benson. Her name changed to Olivia Reinhart after she was put in foster care. fourteen years later, Olivia goes back to Medford for her father's funeral. After that she decides to stay to see if she can find out more about her parents. Also to see if she can find out who the murderer of her parents was.

I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I say that because I love mystery books so this is the book for mystery book lovers. It really kept me wanting to know what happened next.
