This description of Levittown perfectly depicts Santa Clarita, as model homes sprout up on every street and in every neighborhood. Creekside in Valencia is an example of a neighborhood of model homes, each making up one of only a handful of different floorplans. The only real way to find your home in Creekside is to memorize the route, or else you will be caught with, as Kimball describes as ''a sense of panic...''. 
The concept of mass production in Levittown is also parallel to Santa Clarita when considering the model neighborhoods. Consisting of only several floorplans and paint choices, homes are created to be ready to move in to. Families are also mass-packed into ''...densely populated communities...'' (Kimball), with houses with only a few feet between them. However, this does not matter much due to the precise planning of Santa Clarita neighborhoods in that the houses mesh together as planned. Levittown is described as the best planned neighborhood in the world, and Santa Clarita mirrors its perfection with the building aspect.

In Creekside, gardeners come once a week on a scheduled day and yard sales are only permitted on weekends. This relates to Levittown due to the mass planning of services to the community, and adds to the unity the neighborhood shares. Levittown and Santa Clarita neighborhoods are modern-day twins when considering the scheduled deeds that must be done to keep the community looking in order. 
Perhaps my favorite comparison between Levittown and Santa Clarita really brings out my environmentalist side, and it is the idea that trees are planned to be grown. In Levittown, it is believed that '''...growing trees enhance the value of property...'' (Kimball), thus encouraging the growing of trees. Santa Clarita also strictly landscapes medians, parks, schools, etc to enhance the aesthetic appeal of living here. We, as a community, also are tied with Levittown in that we closely plan our landscaping strictly to emphasize the importance of beauty in a city.

For example, families are encouraged to join city-wide sports leagues or clubs. This is true in Santa Clarita as well with city-wide sports teams such as Hart Baseball or Wildcats Cheer. This kind of tie to the community is seen as a badge of unity and togetherness with one's neighborhood, and signals an active member of society. In Santa Clarita, special trails thread through one's community like the ones pictured below to encourage getting out of the house and interacting with neighbors and getting to know the area. For example, Levittown made part of the housing contract to exclude African Americans from owning a home or operating a business. In Santa Clarita this would be highly frowned upon, as we are moderately diverse. Although Santa Clarita has a higher Hispanic socioeconomic rate than African America, any racial discrimination is not acceptable here! Compared to Levittown's complete segregation of blacks from whites for many years, Santa Clarita is completely opposite. This question can pose a mixed response, as portions here and there may have changed while others remain fixed. With the aesthetic side to Santa Clarita and the appeal of of the beauty of model neighborhoods, Levittown directly paralleled this perfect planning. However, the racial discrimination proves to be a huge setback in the comparison of Santa Clarita and Levittown. That kind of discrimination, or really any discrimination at all, simply does not exist here.
