         <description><![CDATA[<div>ecuador <br>One of the many main dishes of Ecuador, are characterized by a strong presence of seafood and fish<br><br>1) Ecuador is the second smallest country in South America, it is of the same area as the state of Nevada in the United States.<br><br>2) UNESCO declared the Galapagos Islands a Natural patrimony of humanity in 1978, and Charles Darwin, one of the most influential scientists in history, based his theory of evolution on an investigation he made on the islands.<br><br>3) Ecuador is the third country with the largest number of volcanoes in the world, 27 are potentially active; Indonesia is the first country with more volcanoes (140) and is followed by Chile with 90.<br><br>peru <br><br>1) The capital and largest city of Peru is Lima, with about 10 million inhabitants. Other large cities are Trujillo, Arequipa, Iquitos, Cusco, Tacna and Puno.<br><br>2) The area that is now Peru was inhabited by many indigenous groups, and over time many were conquered by the Incas. The Incas, in turn, were conquered by the Spaniards in 1532. Peru and then became independent in the year 1821.<br><br>3) The main language in Peru is Spanish, and Spanish is spoken by about 80% of the population.
