Talking about past projects and explaining step by step how to get started seems like an obvious idea, but newcomers often need little hints to get started and be encouraged to take action! Above all, we must not forget to promote participation among teachers of non-language subjects as well.

"Promoting" etwinning in my school means for me to show my colleagues that a different approach to didactics is possible, useful and fun. Planning an open day about etwinning could be a way to actively involve them. Publishing / showing the results of the various projects on the webpage of the school could also be really motivating, because it stimulates curiosity. The collaboration of teachers from subjects other than Foreign languages should be a game changer if we want to create a net of etwinning teachers on the school.

Having worked in various schools, I have realised that the most difficult part of getting fellow teachers involved is convincing them that it is actually worth the effort. They need to be presented with the benefits, watch us work with pupils in order to feel thst they want to take part. Then, they need support with their registration, the platform and web 2.0 tools. Most of them find all these overwhelming and eventually give up. It would be best if every school had an experienced eTwinner who would invite willing colleagues to their projects in order for them to build up confidence so that they can continue on their own.

Promoting eTwinning in my school means putting the „seed“ of the eTwinning experience in the school and making it grow. First it is important to explain to the other teachers what big advantages they can get from connecting to other teachers from all over Europe: exchanging ideas and methods, exploring different ways of teaching, learning new pedagogical approaches. Not to mention the importance of getting to know other cultures. Working with the new European platform is difficult and sometimes it is not working properly, so a task of the ambassador is to support and help the other teachers to get started. I think the promotion activities should be done also for the pupils and their parents, so that they also learn about the importance of participating in eTwinning projects.

I think we could organize one (or more) eTwinning day in the school to present etwinning projects, learn ho to use the platform and collect ideas for new cooperations.

I am an Ambassador from 2021. Working with the teachers from my school(convincing them to become eTwinners) I have started before becoming an Ambassador, but when I recieved this title I became even more active and tried to motivate them, to organize instructions and project demonstrations for teachers. I have added them a gursts to my twinspaces in order to show them from the inside the work in a project. I also involved them in eTwinning Autumn and Spring campains and shared with them promotional materials, too.

I started participating in an eTwinning project in 2018. I chose a simple project and the co-founders accepted me to join it.
That is how I started. Thanks to trainings on eTwinning , I understood better what was demanded and I started creating a project on my own with 3 European partners. I realised I could not do without eTwinning and immediately felt the need to spread my wish to work with colleagues in my school. We started with simple objectives so that it would not put them off. Now I have been asked to show how eTwinning works in an Erasmus Consortium I am part of and in my school. Being an ambassador means sharing my knowledge of Etwinning to colleagues in my school and other schools, to new European partners in my projects . It also allows me to teach my pupils about what being a European citizen means and to develop Erasmus projects in my school with eTwinning projects that will be created by my colleagues in my school.

Hello, my name is Vanessa Silva and I am an etwinning ambassador in Madrid, Spain.

It is my first year as an ambassador but not as participant in European projects. I have worked in my national Erasmus+ agency and for more than ten years, being a follower of European programs.

In my school, CEIP FRANCISCO FATOU, and in order to promote the internationalization of our teachings, we have organized an annual seminar where I have trained my colleagues on the new platform through 3 etwinning projects in the different educational stages.

A wonderful experience that has not only allowed us to discover the new features of the new platform, but has also served as a meeting point to share professional experiences. So enrichement!

Hello everybody, My name is Ángeles Bazalo and I´m etwinner since 2016. I´m ambassador in Andalucia, Spain. It´s the second year as ambassador. In my High School I´m working several eTwinning projects this year. In September I gave a diffusion of the eTwinning projects to the faculty and they were encouraged to participate after having shared my projects.
The work of disseminating eTwinning projects and the help that the ambassador can provide to his colleagues are the basis of our work as ambassador of the platform.
At my center when I arrived, I was only working on eTwinning projects and this year we are carrying out several projects and I have managed to register more than ten teachers on the platform. In addition, this course we are beginning the internationalization of the center through Erasmus+ and I am the coordinator of the project.
Being an ambassador consists of sharing your experiences, your projects, your enthusiasm for working with European partners, as well as transmitting new methodologies in the classroom and trying to transfer European values to the students.

An eTwinning ambassador can showcase projects at school, expand eTwinning and engage teachers who prefer more traditional teaching approaches. They can persuade teachers and school principals to allow their teachers to implement eTwinning projects in school. Ambassadors can provide practical materials (good practices, kits, videos, lesson plans) that indicate how eTwinning can be integrated across school subjects. eTwinning ambassadors can introduce and promote innovative pedagogical approaches that foster pupils’ participation, motivation and learning. They promote internationalisation among pupils, teachers and schools, one of the key elements of eTwinning.

I think that eTwinning has an important effect both on teachers and students. I am a preschool education teacher and I work in a kindergarten in a rural area.
I have been involved in eTwinning projects for more than 5 years, and for the past few months I have been an eTwinning ambassador. A few years ago, I organized a series of eTwinning ambassador-led trainings for our staff. Since then, several of us have been doing projects with children. I am always available for support and advice.
We have a special section on the kindergarten's website where we describe the projects we have implemented and their results.

According to me, teachers may learn about eTwinning more effectively by being involved in a project, that is, by living by doing, through in-service training. During this process, 7/24 support can be provided by ambassadors and some project mentors. Web 2.0 tools in-service trainings can be given to teachers, thus, prejudices against digital education can be broken. Ambassadors can also develop materials that promote eTwinning. Experience and sharing events related to eTwinning can be organized in schools, districts or provinces. Teachers who have run an eTwinning project can explain what has changed after eTwinning. eTwinning promotion and dissemination would take place through peer learning among teachers.

Hi, My name's Przemek and I have been in eTwinning since 2007. I reckon eTwinning is a great opportunity to share knowledge, experience and engagement. In my school the biggest obstacle is teachers' digital skills. Of course, all of the teachers can usa a computer and they do it on a daily basis but still they cannot see the point in placing their activities on the internet. Sometimes they are doing great projects with students but at the same time they do not feel a need to share it with the whole world, which is a pity. I believe the best the best thing is to show such teachers that they can make a difference for other teachers - by inspiration, motivation and engagement. Step by step I am showing them how to get involved and how easy it is. Slowly, it is changing and I hope they will soon pull themselves together and do the job.

Hi ! Nice to meet you.This is Maria Elena Picone, ambassador in Trentino Alto Adige (Italy) since 2022 and eTwinner since start. I am a teacher as well as tutor at the Faculty of Education of the Free University of Bolzano where I organize eTwinning workshops, manage Ite groups and internships for student teachers, I have been coordinating and/or participating in international projects for almost 20 years now.I think teaching English and other subjects in English has had a cutting edge effect on my career: I believe that being a CLILler makes you look for new ways of integrating contents and language(s), skills and benchmarks, syllabi and self made resources. In other words make you build bridges, work on relationships and network.So in a nutshell this is what I do as an ambassador: I put people together, bridge ideas and resources offer my enthusiasm, energy and support solving technicalities but also inspire through examples and experiences. I try not to be too pushy: sometimes you need to be patient and seize the opportunity when people are ready. I use videos, pics and artcrafts to showcase activities carried out with eTwinning classes for example during the open day, the Erasmus days, the parents meetings or specific online events. I also use questionnaires for students, staff and families to let activities and results been knows and evaluate processes and products. In my opinion pupils are the best ambassadors they engage actively in the dissemination ( exhibit in the main hall of the school, special events, visits) and just speak through their engagement, enthusiasm. If you love teaching there is nothing more catching and succeeding in awakening your interest than students commitment and motivation. In addition to that we have an Erasmus group whose members are teachers of primary and lower secondary school that meet regularly. Socials and shared drive are tools used on a daily basis. We share tasks and roles: for ex. some of us take care of the Erasmus / eTwinning corners and add new samples and pieces of information for teachers and families. We also have links on the school website. I have to admit that I do struggle to engage all colleagues, but it`s management that is too busy to be pdated and get involved with eTwinning: here it is the lack of time and the bulk of administrative tasks allocated to them that makes it very challenging. I still make do with sharing awards, hosting and welcoming visiting teachers and students all together. I try to make everybody feel proud of our achievements. As far as workshops for collegues are concerned we devote some of our planning meetings to eTwinning and have created a GSite page with resources. I take part to teacher training events and webinars as a speaker.We also mentor and host student teachers in our classes with a special attention to showcase and engage them in teams involted in eTwin projects. We are adding new events year after year and are working to involve more intensively the the community and the cultural- political stakeholders of our area.

I have been Ambassador since 2022 and coordinator of various Erasmus Projects in my Institute which is located in a decentralized place in Southern Salento (Southern Italy) This desire for knowledge of European partners, for collaboration, comparison and growth of was the first step towards eTwinning methodology. Pupils motivated to learn and communicate in the language have carried out creative projects. Gradually more and more teachers of various disciplines and class councils have been involved
The various projects have always been disseminated on social media, in themed conferences and the pupils have been the main spokespersons.
some eTwinning projects have become Erasmus projects and virtual collaboration has become real.
As an Ambassador, I continue to share information and training with my colleagues through web channels and also involve the Institutes on the net, given that we have received the etwinning school label for two consecutive times, therefore an example for many other schools in the area and the promotion of innovative projects

Hi there! My name is Gaetanina Da Fermo and I’m an eTwinning & Erasmus+ Ambassador in Italy. I joined the Socrates Comenius Programme in 2006 and the eTwinning Community in 2007. I’m a Deputy Headteacher and I teach English at Lower Secondary School. To promote eTwinning in their schools Ambassadors, first of all, should organise information meetings, webinars and workshops to explain the use of the ESEP platform and of the eTwinning tools to the newcomers. One of the most important aims of eTwinning is to encourage European schools to collaborate and to share good practise examples. In a critical time for Europe the empowerment of the European dimension of education and training is a common priority of the international school system. Working alone, in our classroom we are limited in what we can achieve from our students, instead, working together we can overcome borders and barriers. eTwinning is an excellent way to expose learners and teachers to new contents, let them meet people with a different language and a different culture, allowing them, thanks to the twinspace to keep in touch also in the future. In my opinion it’s important to organize small learning communities, show eTwinning projects and discover with the other teachers the opportunities of the eTwinning platform to find contacts, join or create transnational projects. In group work participants could be encouraged to turn their ideas in a set of activities which can be integrated in their regular classes and extra-curricular activities. eTwinning teachers could also organise and run on-site and online activities with their students and colleagues from countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme.

All participants could collaborate on providing an eTwinning action plan and use it to drive innovation and change in their school and in Europe, to improve digital skills, active citizenship and enhance the awareness of the multicultural dimension in students and teachers.

Open Days and meetings should be encouraged to share the project activities and the outcomes of projects with the whole school and local community.

An eTwinning ambassador should be a guide, a counsellor and a facilitator; he/she must inspire creativity, innovation, love for interculturalism, engaging teachers in projects to be able to see the benefits of connectivity, development, support, intercultural exchange and recognition.

I have been participating in twinning since 2020, and since I joined it, I have sought to spread twinning in my school by making a school broadcast to introduce school students to the electronic fine, and then I designed posters with a definition of twinning, organized meetings for students and teachers, and trained them on the twinning platform, and now I also trained teachers on the twinning platform Al-Haditha. Hello, my name is Monika and I am a newbie ambassador for Slovakia. I am active in eTwinning projects thanks to the pandemic and closed schools. I am happy that I discovered eTwinning, it helped me and my students cope with the difficult pandemic period.
In my school, I prepare 2 public webinars for each project for parents, stuents, colleagues and school management - an introductory webinar in which I present the platform, project goals, planned activities and expected results, and a final webinar where we show off the results. We regularly disseminate project work with students on the school website, school social profiles, in the school mailing list and also on the school bulletin board. I regulary inform my colleagues and school managment about each progress in my projects. I invite my colleagues to help me with activities related to the content of their lessons (e.g. preparing an online presentation in English in cooperation with an English language teacher, managing results using digital technologies in cooperation with an applied informatics teacher, etc.). I regularly inform my colleagues about upcoming activities, webinars, and training prepared by Slovak NSO. Also, according to requirements, I organize short trainings/seminars on school grounds and show colleagues useful elements from project work.

To promote etwinning at schools, teachers need motivation..due to the new platform and its difficulties many of them find it difficult to get familiar with the new environment..however an experienced etwinner at their school could make it easier for them to get involved by solving problems that might come up. Students' enthusiasm to meet peers from other countries and work together with them could also enhance teachers' interest towards etwinning because it could be a good way to get their students' attention.
Lastly but not least dissemination of the work and the products of etwinng projects that are being carried out at school, regular briefings about different topics regarding etwinning could also be an effective way to attract more teachers who have less or no experience to etwinning.

In my everyday work with children, I increasingly use the CLIL approach and the project method, including eTwinning.

I enjoy creating my own teaching aids. I think that learning through play with pre-school children is the most effective way of language acquisition.

I am the new eTwinning ambassador for the Lower Silesia area in Poland.

I fell in love with eTwinning from the first project I had the pleasure to set up during an international eTwinning seminar in Romania. It's been a few years since then, and I try to do new projects with pre-school children every year.

I try to ,,infect’’ my colleagues with my enthusiasm for the eTwinning community by involving them in different project activities. I even managed to organise an eTwinning training course for the whole kindergarten teachers. I share the results of the project activities, so I hope to encourage my colleagues to get involved in their own projects soon.

To help them get started, I encourage them to go to seminars and I send eTwinning news on our kindergarten communication group. I would like us to start a joint project soon to show that eTwinning is a great way of implementing the core curriculum and has great developmental possibilities.

Hi there! My name is Aranzazu. I am an English Primary teacher in a bilingual school and eTwinning ambassador since 2020. I really enjoy with eTwinning projects. I think they give my students a real communicative context to practice the foreign language.
I’m all day long talking, formally and non-formally, about the goodness of eTwinning, and his it can help us to improve our teaching. I have also taught a course for the teaching staff on how they could register and how projects work.
I believe that europeization is the way for our school, that’s why I’m very much engaged into eTwinning and Erasmus+ (we are also running a KA122 this year).
My classmates and the other class groups are part of our stage for dissemination processes, as soon as we finish a project. My students like to explain their job and the others like to see their outcomes.

And since students eventually grow up to become members of those same communities, it stands to reason that communities should take an active role in ensuring schools deliver optimal learning environments to ensure happy, healthy, successful students.

Starting from this concept I usually work on my eTwinning projects to establish this important relationship between the school community and the surrounding community. Community involvement in schools can help increase access to learning opportunities, boost student retention, promote optimism among teachers, and improve attendance rates of children at school. Community is all about creating a sense of belonging and having a sense of belonging means that students feel accepted, valued, and included by their teachers and peers and consider themselves an important part of their academic community. I'm Alessandra and I'm a Primary school teacher. I chose to post this photo because I believe in the value of collaboration and this must start from the place closest to us. Once I asked my little pupils if it was more important to dialogue with the Europeans partners or with the classmates. They obviously replied "WITH PARTNERS" ... but...we know they are children!!! In order to promote and diseminate eTwinnning I think it’s very important to make people aware of the benefits of participating to an eTwinning projet. The collaboration of teachers and students from different european schools motivates us to share, learn and use different pedagogical approches and tools, as well as to practice different european languages in order to communicate. All these contributes to increse the motivation of students and teachers to learn and to get familiar whith the unknown. We can get to know different cultures, practice the language we are learning and establish friendships from peers of different countries, which also contributes to opening the mind.

I think the best way to promote eTwinning is presenting a proyect we’ve donne and showing their benefits. I don’t want to reapet the ideas alrealy presented by my partners to which I absolutely agree. I would just like to add the fact that a summary of the project presenting its activites with illustrations can be loaded on the schools’ web site, so it can be viewed by teachers, students and parents. The school center can also be decorated with slides and posters representing the work done by students during un eTwinning project. Students are great at disseminating and promoting eTwinning and the quality label contributes largely to it. I think it’s very important to explain that working on a eTwinnning proyect contributes to a great personnal enrichement and it’s also recognised at an international level.

I think that the beginning of the school year meetings are an essential part of getting the word out about the platform and all the amazing possibilities it offers. This year, one of the ways we used to motivate other teachers to join the platform was to connect it to the library project through an eTwinning project. The difficulties this year have been both the technical issues of the platform and the digital competence of the teaching staff.

For dissemination, we have used our school's blog and website, as well as social media.

The corner is a reminder of the global reach of our internationalization of education. My name is Stefano MARONGIU, and I am an ICT teacher in a secondary school I.I.S. Michele Giua in Cagliari, Sardinia. In addition to teaching, I am the contact person and the coordinator (Funzione Strumentale) of all cross-border mobilities and Euro planning for the entire school community: students, teachers, and administrative and technical staff. I started dealing with European projects during my studies at the Political Sciences Faculty in Cagliari (studies not completed) with the European LLP Program and the Comenius and Socrates Projects. In 2016 I completed a master's degree in Euro planning which allowed me to be included in the European Register of European Designers and Planners based in Amsterdam. Since May 2022 I have been Erasmus+ Ambassador for the Sardinia Region. I have written and coordinated several Erasmus+ projects both SCH and VET for students and school staff. My training is based more on the Erasmus+ side than on the eTwinning side but I'm catching up thanks to this course and thanks to the unification of the SchoolEducationGatway and eTwinning in ESEP.

The success of a project also depends on dissemination. People think that dissemination represents the end of a project. Instead, I think it represents the beginning of a project. The success of a project is measured by the number of people who have been involved but the greater value is given by those people who have been "infected" by the project results.

For this reason I am convinced that small-scale seminars within the school, preferably accompanied by workshops and practical aspects, are the best solution to promote eTwinning in my school.

Specifically, I am raising a group of students who have the task of managing a desk dedicated to the entire school community (including parents and students from other schools in the area). The space is called Sportello Europeo di Orientamento (European Orientation Desk), it is located at the entrance to the school and is well marked with rolls-up, a notice board and a desk where students promote the (previously selected) opportunities offered by the Solidarity European Corps, by the Erasmus+ Programme, by EPALE (for adults, parents, teachers and school staff) and.... now the light bulb has come on because the idea is to promote also eTwinning through the desk. The European Orientation Desk will be also implemented on-line hosted in School website.

How to practically promote eTwinning:
- Info day with an illustration of the ESEP platform

- Workshops to carry out in practice: signing up, finishing an account, creating a group, creating a project, sharing resources and above all taught to SEARCH. Research is very important when exploring a complex web platform like ESEP.

- Including eTwinning during Erasmus+ dissemination events.

- Involving European colleagues when we host them in Erasmus+ job-shadowing activities.

- Showing potential at Erasmus Days (every year in mid-October) or during Europe day on 9th May for schools that celebrate it.

I worked on an eTwinning project with my class last year. The most important thing is to motivate students and make learning meaningful : learning by doing! They were also very interested in discovering other countries and developing citizenship. At the end of the year, after they passed their exams, they were invited to a diploma ceremony and were also given an eTwinning diploma (quality label) for their contribution to the project. They were very proud of themselves.

I have been an Etwinning teacher and coordinator of Etwinning projects at my school, I.C. "Pascoli Forgione" in San Govanni Rotondo (FG), since 2015 and I have always worked by involving the teachers, Etwinners - non Ewtinners, of the 3 school levels (Nursery- Primary- Low Secondary) in the several activities offered by the platform.

In 2018/2019 the Institute obtained the recognition of Etwinning School and uses Etwinning also for the activities related to the three Erasmus projects (2018-1-UK01-KA229-047929_6), (2020-1-ES01-KA229-082072_3) , (2020-1-UK01-KA229-079003_5).

Over the years I have noticed that Etwinning leads to a general improvement in the educational offer of the school through teaching based on internationalization and innovation of teaching and learning models.

Participating in Etwinning therefore means experimenting new forms of teaching in an international and multicultural context, involving teams of teachers, promoting remote collaboration between schools and the direct involvement of teachers, pupils and parents, with the aim of promoting didactic innovation and improve students' skills during normal teaching activities.

Furthermore, thanks to Etwinning, teachers have the opportunity to build educational projects starting from sharing with European colleagues the objectives, techniques and ideas developed in their professional career and take advantage of an update based on the exchange of approaches, methodologies and teaching experiences.

For the aforementioned reasons and for my direct experience, as an Ambassador, I believe it is essential to make other teachers, students and parents aware of the importance of Etwinning in curricular teaching activities and to involve all teachers, not only the ones of Foreign Languages, to work in synergy within the same educational institution and to deal with the realities of other countries. This involvement would push the whole school community to approach the numerous activities of the Erasmus+ programme, providing a greater dimension of social inclusion and information on the school internationalization process.

I think that an Etwinning Ambassador has to sparkle with ideas of projects and support the colleagues who want to join. Most of the time, colleagues will observe first and then will join. Etwinning is another way to work and to have crossed curriculum activities.
The first training I have led with another Ambassador, I told the group that I have only a little bit of experiences.
But all the participants recognized that I was very motivated and that it seems very interesting. My colleague Ambassador told me that it is important to have new ambassadors because we know.
In my school, I have used Etwinning for multiple reasons :
- to work with colleagues in Europe and experience a new way of teaching the curriculum in French literature,
- to disseminate projects financed with the Erasmus + programs,

As an eTwinning ambassador, I started organizing presentations and workshops to introduce teachers at my school and in Istanbul to the benefits of eTwinning and show them how to use the platform. I highlighted some successful eTwinning projects and their impact on my students and personal professional development.

I explained how eTwinning projects can provide students with learning opportunities in engaging and meaningful ways, especially how they can easily incorporate it into their curriculum. I encourage teachers to use eTwinning to create projects that allow students to explore interests, collaborate with peers and develop new skills.
I showed them sample projects that improved my students' academic achievement as well as their social and emotional skills such as communication, teamwork and problem solving.

Just to talk or inform colleagues about a subject/a theme is almost never enough to persuade them to get involved or participate to it. That's why I like to show them the results and the impact eTwinning projects and the collaboration with other European teachers/students/schools has to our students and how this projects "transform" them. So, I present the results or show them on going projects on our pedagogical stuff meetings. For 10 Min I have their attention and sometimes I succeed to motivate or make one or two curious about the "subject" :-).
That is my shiny moment!

I organize various seminars and workshops for local schools and webinars for teachers in whole country (Slovakia) once a month, so I promote eTwinning not only to the teachers, they don´t know it, but I try to help those, who are beginners and want to start a project or find a partner school. In my school we promote eTwinning projects mostly on the Open Days to the parents and on days such as EuropeDay, Europeen Day of Languages, but also on the Hour of Code and Week of Code...

I took part in several eTwinning projects and one of my difficulties was to create an e-Twinning group and involve other teachers, even if they were interested (sometimes they are worried about the lack of enough linguistic o digital competencies...) Therefore my challenge as a newly appointed Ambassador is to create a positive atmosphere promoting the eTwinning world with events showing best practices, materials, tools pointed out that eTwinning doesn't mean to do something extra but it means to work in innovative and motivated way in an international environment. To promote and disseminate eTwinning in their school I think ambassadors don't need to say many words, it would be better just to show to the colleagues some activities their pupils have done in collaboration with the partners.

Their partner-students edited the initial work, adding their contribution. That has been a very simple form of collaboration between learners

eTwinning ambassadorship is about research, innovation, sharing and mentoring. It is essentially voluntary mentoring. I am voluntarily trying to spread eTwinning in my school, in my city and in my country. I am currently mentoring nearly 1400 teachers from Turkey, Europe and Azerbaijan with 10 mentor friends in 2 groups. Structured eTwinning-Twinspace trainings, Web 2.0- 3. 0 trainings, followed by eTwinning project creation workshop and I am working on the follow-up of projects, providing feedback and improving the quality of projects. Hello! I am Loredana Mihaela Cringus - eTwinning Romania ambassador. I have been an eTwinner since 2008 and I really like what I do. Over the years I have realized very beautiful eTwinning projects in which I have met beautiful people with whom I have collaborated, motivated, eager to share their experience.
I brought this "virus" to my school as well, showing my colleagues the beautiful projects I make with the children. I teach in second grade (this is a primary school and I've made a few projects in kindergarten too). I made a presentation to my colleagues (powerpoint of the project) with the different goals. So they could see the benefit for a class and that it is a good way to motivate the pupils. They know I can help them with a project.

Every year, I make an exposition (parents teacher meeting) explaining our work. The other teachers are also invited so they can have examples of project.

I also share the project update on our school plateform and sometimes on the social media.

I have been ae eTwinning Ambassador since 2019 and I have different experience at my school. We managed to won the eTwinning School label for 3 times. I have quite a big team we have been cooperating for a few years.

My collegues take part in many eTwinning events, counrses and workshops, they also take part in eTwinnnig project, but also in Erasmus+ projects, which we always make in synergy with eTwinning.

Sometimes it's difficult to encorage my school teachers in hard work on eTwinning, even though many of them joined the new eTwinning platform and work there. We have created school projects for my school teachers only - as a safe space for our cooperation.

I have been an Ambasadors for 6 years and I have dones severral things to promote E-Twinning in my school.

I published students work on the school website and I asked visitors to vote for their favourite work, the one my students would then publish on the Twinspace.

When my students are rewarded with a Quality Label I also publish a message on the school website and I organise a ceremony. All along each project I publish messages on school website and other social media belonging to the school. I also show the pupils work in the school library where many pupils often go. I also talk about it with my colleagues and answer their questions. I also suggest we can meet some time with a cup of coffee and talk about it to show them the platform if they want.

showcasing how collaboration with European peers can broaden teaching methods, introduce innovative approaches, and contribute to continuous professional growth*;

I have been an etwinner for more then 10 years and now very happy to be an ambassador. My school has been awarded with the label of etwinning school thanks to all projects run by the etwinning team.

I have been an ETwinning Ambassador for a few days. :)

What does it mean to promote eTwinning? It means giving other colleagues and their students the experience of what it is like to work with other schools, with students from other countries, from hundreds or even thousands of kilometres away. I would like to give webinars, write articles, visit schools and give practical help to interested colleagues. Project work is always a great fun!

I teach in an eTwinning school and I have lots of new, young colleagues now so I try to involve them in projects by showcasing examples of good practices, challenges, solutions. All the teachers have a whatsapp group so everything I have to say can be posted there and we discuss also in the teachers' room because we spend most of our breaks together so we get to plan, exchange ideas, complain :) don't worry, we also try to find solutions ;) We have a Wakelet collection of good practices, including presentations students have delivered, so that helps as well. I love the idea of students as protagonists so I try to find opportunities for my students to present their work to our colleagues.

I teach in a school that has been awarded the eTwinning school label three times already. I live eTwinning and try to pay it forward with all my knowledge and enthusiasm. I believe in the power of personal examples and I am particularly proud for being able to grow the eTwinning community in my school. A lot of French ambassadors in primary schools decided to make a project to encourage at least one of their colleagues to join etwinning. They created 2 mascotts, representing the blue and the yellow characters of the etwinning logo. Each mascott is sending to the half country and the other to the the other part. By this way, they make a journey during all the year and finaly arrives to the NSO. During this journey, they make videos to present their schools and towns. Children can follow the journey on a map. It's a simple and great project to begin as a new etwinner. We decided this idea when we met at our national meeting last spring, we communicate on a WhatsApp group and via the TwinSpace to organize the project.

There are many things that can be done in a community to promote learning via educational projects. Some of the activities that are most appelaing to students and teachers are the ones that are mostly based on collaboration and/or cooperation. Learning from the others or being helpful to the others has alwasy been effective. In my community what I could do best is make it available for everyone to join at any step of the project. Publishing the activities on social media sites but also being open to helping the new members is crucial for a successful project implementation.

Some of the steps that I consider important are:

Promote the project among peers and on social media platfroms respecting the rules of being safe online.
Include participants and help in understanding the steps of a successful outcome.
Being open to changes and adaptation of new techniques or resources for a better result.

As an active eTwinner since 2008, I have always shared the projects with the school community and my fellow colleagues, having invited some to the projects.

I have run several workshops to introduce my colleagues to eTwinning platform and teaching methodology and to show the positive impacts of involving students in eTwinning projects. I also participated in national and international conferences to disseminate awarded eTwinning projects.

I was appointed eTwinning ambassador this school year 2023/24,and as such I actively promote the platform by organising informative workshops and sessions for teachers, administrators, and students not only in my school but also in other schools. It's a pleasure for me to be here with you.

I've been an etwinner since 2009 and I'm now also an eTwinning mentor at my school. Since I discovered eTwinning, the teaching-learning process has been much easier for me because my students love working collaboratively with colleagues from other countries. At my school I try to motivate my colleagues to promote and participate in eTwinning projects.

To motivate my colleagues, what I do is show them examples of successful projects, ask the students who take part to give their testimonies so that they realise that, for the students, projects of this kind are really motivating.

As an etwinning ambassador, a challenge I have accepted, I want to motivate not only my colleagues at school, but also those in my country. I will always be available to help colleagues on the platform and to support them in creating projects. And, of course, to help increase the number of eTwinners in Portugal.

I teach English as a foreign language in a Lower Secondary School in Pesaro.

I have been training to use technology in the classroom then I started to train teachers in my and other schools so I became an excellent point of reference for them.

I've always tried to develop my students' digital skills, too. I have been ICT coordinator and administrator and I've started using new methodologies in class, such as Flipped Teaching and Project-based learning;

when I met the eTwinning Community in 2015 and started to join projects it was just the right place where I could use my experience and give my classroom activities a more important meaning.

At first it wasn't so easy to understand the potentiality of the means and when I finally realized there was anything I needed on the eTwinning platform I've started to promoted it, to invite my colleagues to join it and try to open their classroom activities to the eTwinning Community, actually it was hard but I managed to create eTwinning communities in the schools where I worked in the last 8 years.

I have been teaching English for 20 years in a primary school in a small town in Serbia. I have become a great fan of eTwinning and that eventually led me to becoming an eTwinning ambassador. The way I try to motivate my colleagues at school is that I always held a presentation after I receive an European Quality Label as an example of good practice. Teachers also like learning about new web tools, so I use that topic to teach them about eTwinning. I've been working with eTwinning since 2014 and I was the only one in my school at the very beginning. I became an ambassador in 2016. I am also an Erasmus+ coordinator in my school and e-referent.

I teach Dutch and English in lower secondary school in the south of Belgium. I often collaborate with Flemish colleagues to work on eTwinning Belgica projects. And I have done other European projects as well.

In my school I have the support of the school board.

In order to convince and motivate colleagues to join the eTwinning community I have organized lunch time meetings around eTwinning. I introduced the program, showed some of my projects and answered the questions. I also insist that I'm their coach, I'm there to help (and they ask for it). So I feel useful.

Every month I publish a kind of e-booklet with interesting tools, lectures, ...

I also share information about seminars to encourage them to take part in them.

eTwinning is really a part of me and I wouldn't be able to teach without it.

Hello everyone. I have been a member of eTwinning since 2015 and have been actively using eTwinning since 2019. I have been working in education in Serbia for 20 years. This year, I became one of the 22 eTwinning ambassadors in my country. I believe that eTwinning ambassadors attract the attention and interest of colleagues through their example, work, and results. When we, as ambassadors, succeed in helping our colleagues become members of eTwinning, our role turns into what was mentioned at the beginning of the video: support, support, support. Hello, I am an English teacher in a small rural school in Serbia. I have been teaching form more than 20 years now. I joined E-Twinning platform in 2017-2018. This is my first year as an ambassador. I am so happy to be among all the eTwinning ambassadors this year.

I have been involved in eTwinning projects during Covid- 19 and since then I have never stopped . I had National and European quality labels for projects dealing with the environment , well -being and Olympic sports. This year I am working on two different projects : one on the ideal world and the other one on bridges to EU values.

I attended a European seminar in Sarajevo and there I found my partners for my second project.

Last year, since I am a teacher trainer for the National Education Board I did a training on eTwinning with the local eTwinning coordinator and I shared my little experience with my English colleagues. I helped them set up projects and showed them presentations of my eTwinning projects. I hope to inspire my colleagues .I am always ready to help them and invite them to be "on the move " and keep smiling ( see the picture of myself above ) because it's very important to collaborate and have fun.

I'm active eTwinner since 2020 and I received several prizes NQL and EQL. At the moment I'm trying to motivate and support other teachers from my school to start working on eTwinning, making them experience directly what means for our students meet and work with other European students. Ambassadors should promote eTwinning in their schools by connecting it to meaningful, long-term projects that show a clear impact on students, teachers, and the whole school community. One of the most effective strategies is to start from successful experiences and transform them into inspirational models that others can easily replicate or adapt.

In my view, ambassadors should act as project designers and facilitators, not only as promoters. For example, an eTwinning project inspired by The Ways of Europe. Walking & Learning can show how eTwinning is a gateway to high-quality European projects. This project, which later became an Erasmus+ Role Model 2022, was born on eTwinning and involved many classes and teachers from the same school. This demonstrates that eTwinning can foster collaborative curriculum design, interdisciplinary work, and active student participation through experiential learning.

To promote and disseminate eTwinning in my school, I would:

Share concrete evidence of impact, such as students’ digital artefacts, collaborative maps, walking diaries, and reflections produced during the project.
Organise peer-to-peer workshops where teachers involved in the project explain how eTwinning supports active methodologies like project-based learning, outdoor education, and CLIL.
Use visual storytelling (photos, short videos, Padlet boards) to document the learning process and make it visible within the school and beyond.
Highlight the European dimension and the professional growth opportunities for teachers, showing how an eTwinning project can evolve into Erasmus+ experiences.

Successful approaches include starting with a small group of motivated teachers, working on a shared theme connected to the curriculum, and gradually scaling up the project to involve more classes. Dissemination becomes effective when eTwinning is presented not as an extra task, but as a powerful framework for innovation, collaboration, and internationalisation of the school.

have been teaching English for 16 years, and last year was my first experience with eTwinning. It was a very successful start, as my project received both the National and European Quality Labels. This year, I am involved in four eTwinning projects, and I was honored to be appointed as an eTwinning Ambassador.

Within my school, I actively promote eTwinning by sharing project activities and students’ products on the school’s official pages, helping to increase awareness and motivation among teachers and students.

I also support my colleagues inside the school by helping them register on the eTwinning platform and encouraging them to join ongoing projects. Through collaboration, teachers gain confidence and become more open to integrating eTwinning into their teaching.

In addition, we organize an eTwinning Day at school, where projects are presented, students’ work is showcased, and the impact of eTwinning on learning is highlighted. I encourage student involvement as ambassadors and integrate eTwinning activities into my English classes to ensure sustainability.

I believe that sharing experiences, teamwork, and celebrating success within the school are the most effective ways to promote eTwinning.

As an eTwinning ambassador, I believe that promoting eTwinning in schools works best through motivation, visibility and shared experiences. From my own practice, I have learned that colleagues are most easily inspired when they see concrete examples of successful projects and when they feel supported throughout the process.

I am a teacher in my sixth year at the FS Schloss Stein. Our school has been accredited since 2022, and since then I have been involved in three eTwinning projects. In each project, I deliberately tried to involve as many colleagues as possible and to spread the eTwinning mindset across different subjects – which has always been successful. Motivation, creativity and continuity are key: encouraging colleagues to try, to stay involved and to enjoy the process makes a real difference.

Since 2025, we have been an official eTwinning School. At our school, Erasmus+ and eTwinning are integrated into all major school events and activities. We have created an Erasmus+ corner to make international projects visible and accessible for students, teachers and visitors. In addition, we actively support other agriculture colleges in Styria, as we are currently the only accredited vocational school in Austria.

Even when no mobility takes place, we stay in close contact with our partner schools through eTwinning projects. Regular online collaboration and exchange help us maintain strong partnerships and keep the European dimension alive in everyday school life.

My goal as an ambassador is to go even deeper: to continue motivating colleagues, to network, to share experiences and to further disseminate the Erasmus+ and eTwinning spirit. I believe that my role as an eTwinning Ambassador and a Chemistry teacher is to introduce the programme and its educational goals within my school and to share successful practices with colleagues. I joined the eTwinning programme in the academic year 2024–2025 and was awarded both the National Quality Label and the European Quality Label. I promote eTwinning by raising awareness among teachers and students through the school morning assembly, publishing projects carried out by my students and me on the school’s official page and social media platforms, dedicating a board to display ongoing projects, and presenting project outcomes within the school.

Of course they have to promote eTwinning first with the very colleagues, but also with other schools from the same town and even for their region. An eTwinning ambassador supports teachers and helps them start simple international projects. They share ideas, listen to colleagues and offer easy solutions so more teachers feel confident to participate. In my opinion, eTwinning ambassadors should actively promote and support eTwinning in their schools by encouraging all the school teachers and their students to participate. It is important that all the community knows about eTwinning and ts benefits sharing school succesful projects in meetings, school events or the web page.

Ambassadors should also support new teachers by helping them to join eTwinning and start their first projects. In my school we encourage them to participate in interdisciplinary projects, with other experienced teachers.

Finally, ambassadors should encourage their schools to work toward the eTwinning School Label, promoting collaboration, inclusion, and innovation, and helping students become agents of change within the school community. I also agree with other teachers that eTwinning should be integrated in the curriculum, supported by the management team. That's the guarantee to get a sustainable experience. eTwinning should be part of the school day by day. Ah! And it is also important not to forget the synergies with other international projects. eTwinning and Erasmus can go hand in hand and motivate students even more, while also increasing the visibility of their work. Erasmus projects can also help highlight and strengthen eTwinning activities, making the projects more visible and impactful for the whole school community.

In my opinion, being an eTwinning Ambassador in a primary school offers many benefits both for teachers and for the entire educational community. First of all, it allows the ambassador to support and inspire other teachers to participate in international collaborative projects, helping them discover new ways of teaching and learning through cooperation with schools across Europe.

Another important benefit is the opportunity to promote innovative methodologies in the classroom. Promoting eTwinning in Initial Teacher Education

As an eTwinning Ambassador in Initial Teacher Education (ITE), I aim to introduce student teachers to the value of international collaboration early in their professional journey. eTwinning provides a creative and accessible way to explore international cooperation, digital pedagogy and innovative classroom practices.

In my courses, I promote eTwinning by providing practical examples and running micro-projects and short try-out sessions. In these sessions, students can explore the TwinSpace and develop their first project ideas in cooperation with the NSS.

Successful approaches at my institution include:

As eTwinning ambassador I use to train other teachers about eTwinning projects. This picture is with some of the participants in my last training last October 2025. We are responsible of promoting these projects to other teachers in our school but also in other schools. I am very happy sharing my projects and teaching others how to use eTwinning.

In the school web page we also have a window to share our projects, so others can see it and learn. We also have a physical eTwinning corner in our school where we share information about our projects. I have participated also in radio interviews and conferences talking about eTwinning and its benefits. I am very happy of being part of the ambassadors Team.
