This September, Yi Shian will be performing a piano duet at Mount Elizabeth hospital with her fellow Peer, Jessie Yeung hoping to embark the listeners on a musical journey through the famous tunes composed for the opera "Carmen"by a French composer, Georges Bizet.

Growing up with passion towards music, Yi Shian believes that music is a medicine to the mind.

Over the years of performing piano solo works, ranging from works composed since the 16th century till more contemporary works, she concluded that music is able to empower one's state of mind as well as to bring joy and reassurance to those in need of some beauty in their lives.
