Although in the first months of his power he tried to give more freedom to Russians, his power was held with the use of coercion. However, he was so obsessed with being the one who would start a worldwide communist revolution that he ignored the discontent of the masses. Lenin’s rule seems to be built around himself and his visions. As he began his reign with fulfilment of promises he had made prior to acquiring power, he quickly turned his entire purpose around from wanting the best for the working class to wanting the best for himself. Czeka, purges and capital punishment are essentially the words that come to mind when describing the initial impressions of Lenin’s rule.

Lenin's rule was by no way perfect, he wasn't able to turn around a countries problems that existed for a majority of the time Russia existed. His reign was cold and Brutal, the people were no individuals anymore they were the masses that hold Russia just barley over water.
