We tested Pamper and Walmart brand diapers to see which had the higher quality diaper. The Pampers diaper is the better diaper because the Walmart diaper could only hold a total of 150mL of water, while the Pampers diaper could hold a total of 300mL of water before leaking. The Pampers could also absorb the water an average of 2X faster than the Walmart brand.

Pampers can hold significantly more water than off brand diapers. In the test we poured about 95 milliliters of water in each diaper then weighed them, the pampers weighed at 92.8 grams and the of brand at 108.9 grams. However the water stayed in both diapers. Also when we lied the diapers down, the pampers left some water on the counter.

We think that the Pampers brand was the better quality diaper because after testing both with the same amounts of water the Pampers diaper weighed less and absorbed more water than the Walmart brand diaper.

We are testing which diaper holds the most liquid and by doing that we measured how much we put in each diaper until they couldn't absorb anymore. Pampers held 574 mL and the Walmart brand held 500 mL. Therefore, pampers is the better brand because it holds more, but because the diapers each held the same to a point and we didn't actually have them on a baby, our group thinks it's safe to say the Walmart brand is better.
