The National Bibliographic Agency (NBA) has many functions. Putting our focus on one of them, the NBA's main purpose is to prepare an authoritative and comprehensive bibliographic record for every recently published issue within the country and make the record according to set standards. To do this, the NBA requires early access to new publications, professional and experienced staff, funds and resources, as well as a judicial framework. The NBA is also responsible for the application and maintenance of bibliographical standards

The National Bibliographic Agency (NBA) has a variety of functions. One of them includes NBA being responsible for providing authoritative bibliographic data for its own country's publications, as well as making that data available to other NBAs, libraries, and other communities. For instance, archives and museums. This is accordingly through appropriate and timely services, to increase the goal of increasing open access to bibliographic data. Therefore, NBA should implement national and international standards or principles for cataloging, along with identifying systems such as ISBN and ISSN. In my opinion, NBA bibliographic agencies should promote efforts to harmonize bibliographic standards established for all forms of publications.

As we know, there are many functions of The National Bibliography Agency, but we are going to focus one of the function. The National Library Agency (NBA) main function is to save the time of the user. In any case, for book index, even a researcher confronted with such a huge measure of writing would utilize his direction, burning through much time before he can peruse even of past of which he is expected to study.

One function of National Bibliographic Agency (NBA) is to provides a Current, Timely, Comprehensive, and Authoritative list of all titles published in a country, it provides a record of their existence, and it identifies them unambiguously. Such as, Current: is by making sure that the descriptive listing for users looking for bibliographic information is always up to date. In most countries, the Cataloguing in Publication (CIP) programmes now allow for cataloguing information for published material to be available prior to their publication so CIP records can also be included in the national bibliography. However, national bibliographic agencies must compete with commercial providers of bibliographic data, such as "publishers" or "booksellers" databases, which can produce and distribute such data more quickly based on CIP records.

To ensure the quality of national bibliographies in the present day, the data must be distributed under an open license and as open linked data. It is critical to consider items when creating national bibliographies in order to ensure future collaborations between national libraries and other cultural heritage bodies. This is a criterion that should be added to Parent's four national bibliographical characteristics. The integration of national bibliographic data into the Semantic Web allows for a new, seamless application of the data that will benefit consumers. All bibliographic data must be formatted in such a way that it may be shared and reused in partnership with metadata producers and users outside of the library discourse. Data transparency is essential for gaining user awareness and is linked to trustworthiness. Knowledge of where data comes from, how it's created, and how to use it. This is necessary in order to facilitate future collaborations between national libraries and other organizations that work with cultural heritage data. It is critical that national bibliographic data be linked to the Semantic Web in order for user awareness to persist.

I will explain one of the functions of National Bibliographic Agencies, and it is functioning in collaboration and distribution. National bibliographic control is often distributed among the agencies' responsibility for the different types of material. For example, textual material may be the responsibility of the national library, whereas film and television are the responsibility of the national film archive. A collaboration or distributed structure can mobilize scattered resources and direct them toward the common purpose of bibliographic control. From this, it can help share responsibility in spreading the burden of managing the legal deposit system. But in a distributed system it may be difficult to maintain consistency and star standard. Besides that, strong leadership and good communication will be necessary to involve partners in contributing to the common goals and managing.

Having a good bibliographic system is a reliable data and information storage system that can be obtained easily but quite difficult to access if not in the right way. IFLA that stands for International Federation of Library Associations have a good bibliographic system. The NBA has a huge impact on proper information management. The function of the NBA is to provide information through the national library to people who are looking for information. They also provides facilities to the library so that the users can use the technologies seeking information that they need. Without the NBA, how we want to seek informations from every corner of the world and how we want to keep informations in a good place? The NBA holds a huge responsibility in every each of country and it have a lot of functions for our citizens and country’s good.

The National Bibliographic Agency (NBA) serves many purposes. One of them is the NBA's responsibility for supplying authentic bibliographic data for publications published in its own country and making that data available to other NBAs, libraries, and other communities. Archives and museums, for example. This is done in accordance with the purpose of promoting free access to bibliographic data by providing appropriate and timely services. As a result, NBA should implement national and international cataloguing standards and principles, as well as identifying systems like ISBN and ISSN. NBA bibliographic agencies, in my opinion, should support attempts to standardise bibliographic standards for all types of publications.

The IFLA Section on National Libraries describes a national library's obligations as follows: "National libraries have specific responsibilities within a nation's library and information system, frequently prescribed in legislation." These responsibilities vary by country, but they are likely to include: the collection of national imprints (both print and electronic) via legal deposit, cataloguing, and preservation; the provision of central services (e.g., reference, bibliography, preservation, lending) to users both directly and through other libraries and information centers; the preservation and promotion of the national cultural heritage; and the acquisition of at least a representative coterie. International programs and projects frequently use national libraries as a venue. They may have close ties to national governments, be concerned about the evolution of national information policy, and serve as a conduit for the opinions of other professions. They also provide direct information to the legislature on occasion."
