         <description><![CDATA[<div>TK/K Science Vocabulary - Sink &amp; Float<br>Students made predictions of which objects would sink or float, then glued the corresponding picture of the object on the correct page. There was equal interest between girls and boys. Many students were surprised both apples and sponges float, while a crayon sinks. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>TK/K students grew borax crystals on colored pipe cleaners. We ended up having to redo the borax step because there were barely any crystals on the pipe cleaners. We discussed why this might have happened as a whole class. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students created a bridge that would hold a “troll” crossing over it. They had to use engineering skills in their design to prevent the bridge from failing. Many trial and error attempts were done. Students learned quickly how to make adjustments and try again.  </div>]]></description>

Students were given 35 popsicle sticks, scotch tape, and 4 pieces of cardboard. All students were engage, challenged, and excited to use their ideas to create and revise their treehouse, until it was perfect!</div>]]></description>
