Amir found someone who makes him happy and has something in common with him. Amir not only got a second family but he also achieved his long time childhood dream of being an author. The only thing he's missing is Baba and a child. Although Hassan had a wife, a kid, and his mother back, he still lived a hard life as a Hazara in Kabul. Hassan also lived with the longing and lingering feeling of missing his dear friend Amir. HAssan is the kind of person who doesn't hold grudges and when faced with problem, he can overcome it and not dwell in the past. This had led him to move on from the traumas he faced as a child a build a new life. His wife and family meant the world to him and he worked so hard to provide for them. When Rahim offered him a better home he turned it down because he has secure with what he had. He was overall treated better than Hassan. He didn’t have to endure as much hardship as Hassan did socially, and emotionally.

Trinity: Amir had a better life because of his social class he got the best of everything, he never had to work for much, and he even got an education. He even got the opportunity to live in America and go to college, further his dreams of becoming a writer and having published books. He was even accepted by Baba and that is all he ever wanted.

Gallien: Amir had a happier life because he is a bully to people and his friends, and it is known that bullies usually have a life they do not like and that's why they are doing the bullying. He bullies Hassan because he thinks he is above him, but when things stop going Amir's way he breaks down and doesn’t know how to handle it because he was always given everything in life and doesn't know how to deal with hardship.

I believe that Hassan is happier. Although Amir is privileged and blessed to move to America and get married, his wife is infertile and he battles many struggles. Meanwhile Hassan got married and lived a very happy life without all of the extra things Amir has.

Hassan had a happier life because he didn’t need materialistic things and privilege to gain happiness. He got married and unlike Amir and his wife Soraya, Hassan and Farzana could have children. Hassan was able to embrace his mother even after she abandoned him and became a part of his life

I believe that Hassan has had a happier life. Since Hassan and Ali left Kabul after the incident with Amir’s presents Hassan has been happy. Hassan was able to have a happy fulfilling life without the privileges that Amir was given once he moved to America. Hassan was married and had two children even though one died, but after that he was still happy up until the day of his death.

We all believed that Amir led a happier life because he was much more privileged than Hassan. His father had a better paying job than Hassan, he was given an education, and had an overall better childhood. Also, some could say that Amir was the only person to show Hassan what it was like to live a happy life. Compared to Amir’s life, Hassan had experienced a lot of first hand truama watching his hometown get ripped apart by war and political unrest. All of this while Amir escaped to America and lived an seemingly untroubled life. Hassan dealt with physical abuse, sexual assault, and the raft of being a Hazara while serving a friend who was never really loyal to him. Then, when the Soviet invasion happened, Amir was able to flee Afghanistan with Baba to America, where it was safe, while Hassan would still have to live there, and witness all of the destruction that happened in that decade. And as we learn, Hassan turns out fine when we see him again at this point in the story; he may not be leading a life quite as fine as Amir’s, but he’s still shown to be happy, holding no sort of grudge against Amir or anything, and even having a healthy child with his wife. He actually hopes to see Amir again and catch up with him personally, but before he even has the chance to do so, he ends up getting killed. But even then, while neither he nor Amir will ever see each other face-to-face again, Amir will at least be able to take care of their child when he and Soraya couldn’t have one of their own.

Growing up privileged gave him more opportunities to become successful and happy. He was able to come to the United States and make a life for himself. Amir had all of these connections and was able to become what he wanted to be, not what he had to be. He was able to become a very successful writer and marry the love of his life. While he still had to live with the guilt of what happened with Hassan, he was still able to go on with his life and become successful. While some may argue that Hassan led a happier life, he still did not get the privileges that Amir had in the United States. War and poverty were a constant in his life and Amir was able to escape that. Hassan wasn't able to have these things and was ultimately the one that would have the short end of the stick in most scenarios.
