On this day in the church Adoration of the Eucharist takes place to commemorate the disciples' vigil with Christ as well as the opportunity to recieve chrism during the mass. Though this is what happens on Holy Thursday, the Catholic Church is always celebrating Holy Thursday through the Eucharist, a symbol of The Last Supper.
