2. Navigation in the application (20’)

Students enter the application with the guidance of the teacher. The students are divided into seven groups, as many as the continents. To separate the groups, the yellow nodes are used, which are located in the virtual environment and refer to each continent separately. In groups, the students explore the continents, observe the images, 3D objects and educational videos located in the virtual world and collect information about the continents, attractions and climate.

Then, the students work together in pairs to select the correct object and place it in front of the image of the map of each continent. Students record the following on a worksheet:

• The continent they studied

• Popular countries and attractions

• The characteristics of the continent’s climate

• A problem related to climate change on that continent

3. Discussion and feedback (15’)

Each group presents its findings to the class.

We summarize the results: “All continents are affected by climate change, but in different ways.”
