During our discussion, I learned to think like a historian by evaluating the context, source, and have evidence that supports the information you are looking at. You can use primary and secondary sources to to reach a conclusion about the information being evaluated. Historians use both sources to evaluate the information.

During the role play activity, there were different perspectives of the same event. Each interview gave us different information about an the same event that occurred. To help you think like a historian you need to be able to see the bigger picture.

Perspective will help me "think like a historian" because it shows me how people have different views on events. Even though you may view something one way, others may view it another. Historians who use secondary sources may also have different perspectives which could affect the way others see things.
