This place became a big part of my early growth. It’s where I started to explore more of the world around me, and where I began to discover and develop my talents—especially in singing. Fun fact: I actually sang during this moving-up ceremony because my teacher assigned me to perform. It was a moment I’ll never forget.

I was not only a student leader but also a leader in our KAB Scout. I loved joining contests—especially anything related to reading, storytelling, acting, and singing. I even won in both English and Filipino contests, from our line meet-ups all the way to the DECAA level. Looking back, this was when I truly began to find my voice and confidence as a student and performer.

I’m currently studying at Ateneo de Davao University in senior high school, and this is where I met my amazing BFFs. I'm still learning, growing, and taking on more responsibilities each day. I may not have everything figured out yet—I’m still finding my way in this world, still searching for my purpose—but I believe that one day, I’ll get there. I’ll find it. And when I do, I know I’ll reach success and become even more than who I am today.

I really, really hope that by the time you read this, you’re already a professional doctor—living the dream we used to talk about late at night. I hope you’ve made it through med school, survived the hard days, and came out stronger. I hope you’re successful, rich (yes, girl, you deserve it!!), and living a life that makes you feel fulfilled. And I hope you have a wonderful, supportive husband who truly loves you for who you are—someone who celebrates your strength but also makes space for your softness.

Please don’t forget where you started. Don’t forget Mom and Lola who raised you with so much love, or Dad who always tried his best, or your little brother who looked up to you. And never forget the best friends who stood by you through everything. Keep your heart open, stay kind, stay humble, and remember to always give back. You've always been a leader, a light—and I hope you still are.

Most of all, I want to say this: I’m proud of you. Whether everything worked out the way we dreamed or life surprised you with something even better—I’m proud of the person you’ve become. Keep growing, keep shining, and keep believing in yourself. You’re meant for great things. And no matter where you are in life, always remember: you’ve made it this far, and that’s already something to be proud of.
