Like many other newspaper cartoons of the modern era, this cartoon is a comedic comic strip. However, unlike many cartoons of the modern era, this one tries to convey the idea of Newspapers becoming Obsolete over the superior technologies that are mobile devices, from which readers can view all the news online.

The cartoon is portrayed as comedic, as it mocks other sorts of newspapers over the many panels.

The cartoon was created by Tony Zuvela, by around February 25th, 2014 (Date of page creation). At this point, newspapers and online articles seemed to be competing for relevance, as shown in the cartoon.
