I would go snorkeling and scuba diving to explore The Great Barrier Reef and observe all of the life forms there from the sharks that lurk in the shadows to the clown fish hiding in the anemone. Swimming through the reef does disturb animal life in the Reef. Also, due to humans invading the reef, the size of the reef has decreased a great amount.

The region of which I am visiting is The Cairns Region. It is in North East Australia. I came up with this conclusion because Cairns is its own region. This region is is a functional region on its own because it does not rely on any other regions.

This area does involve many human interactions because year-round, you can go on diving and snorkeling through the reef. There are also spacial interaction with the countries around it because it is on the coast. The is a problem caused by distance of shipping to those countries.
