The Feb PD was probably the best we've had. Day one was better than day two. Day one had actual work time built in and we were able to try the strategies we were given. While I like the idea of having choices, running from one class to the next does not really give you a chance to put in to practice what you just learned. I think we are all willing to learn something new; we just need the time to actually go try it. Give them the time to prepare to present. We may get more volunteers if they feel like they'll actually have the time to prepare. We have great people that work here and seeing things they are doing that I can apply right then in my own classroom.
