Because of Michelle Carlin's lack of information online, it was difficult to come to a firm conclusion on when this piece was made and am still not sure.

All of Michelle Carlin's paintings are 12.7 cm by 17.8 cm and have similar style.

Micelle made these paintings because it reminded her of her childhood growing up in Ballymoney (Ireland) and watching the North Antrim coastline which many of the kids in her pictures do.
