(Explanation)This quote describes how Walter is prideful. The reason I say Walter is prideful is because he is good where he is at in life and he's always eager to get things done and is always open to go to the next step in life. He also chose to stay in the house because of his fathers hard work which he built the house brick by brick. He also is prideful because of all the hard work he's done and his reputation before he past away. I also feel he is prideful because he shows a good reputation just like his father and he takes up as being the man in the house. (Explanation) This quote describes how Walter is determined. I say Walter is determined because he's always eager to get things done. For example, he was determined to try and get the bar open to help out there situation. Through everything they go through he still does what he thinks is best for them and there situation. He also wanted the money so that he can invest in a bar which can bring money in to help out the family in the long run. He always thinks in the long run and is determined to help out the family.

I feel bad for him because of the struggles they go through as a family. He tries to get his family in a better situation and he understands the position they are in in life. Through all they go through he tries to find a way and a better way for them to live. I can also relate to Walter because everything he goes through he lives his life day by day and continues to do what he thinks is best for his family and himself. For example, he attempted to invest in the bar to bring more money into the family which can help them out in the long run and could put them in a better situation. The colors I choose are all blue and one yellow one. It shows diversity and how he stands out where he's from. Walter has the only black family in a all white neighbor hood. The picture symbolizes even though he's different he still continues his life no matter his differences. lemons
When life give you lemons
To me life is a lemon
Nothing in life going be easy
Nothing I say going make
That part of your life easier
Why
Life gave you load of lemons to
You have deal with them daily
My obstacles won't make yours 
any easier

This poem relates to Walter in many ways because throughout his lifetime he faces many obstacles. In the poem they are talking about how when life gives you lemons deal with what your given. The poem also talks about how nothing in life is easy and nothing someone says is going to make part of your life any easier. "Life gave you load of lemons to You have deal with hem daily". Life gave you those lemons which you have to deal with them and overcome all obstacles. You have to deal with your obstacles personally, because your obstacles you face wont make anyone else's any easier. Walter and his family face many obstacles such as struggles with money issues. The struggles they face together wont make anybody else's struggles any easier they just have to overcome the obstacles they face.

The lyrics of the song talks about the struggles and overcoming them. In the lyrics they talk about "The Struggles i'm facing, The chances i'm taking, Sometimes might knock me down but no i'm not breaking...". This means know matter the struggles you go through and the chances you take, you might fail but never give up. This relates to the Walter because he tries to open a bar for his family to help with financial issues and it didn't work out for him, but that didn't stop him from still trying to help out. It also means never give up its not about your struggles but its about how you deal with and overcome them. In the song they talk about it doesn't matter how long it takes or whats on the other side, it's the climb. The climb is your progress you made to overcome the obstacles your facing. Walter faced many obstacles that he came over. This quote relates to the theme in many ways. The quote talks about how how he doesn't look at his job as a real job opening and closing doors all day and saying yes sir and no sir. So this could relate to the theme dreams because he dreams for a better job and wants to start a bar to make more money and do something better than what he's doing. This quote also relates to the theme suffering because of one his job and there financial issues. He hates his job and suffers from saying yes and no sir all day. They also suffer when it comes to money issues that's why he's dealing with the job he has and hopes for a better job to help out more.
