How and Why did your family come to the Unite States?

My family came to The U.S. somewhere between 1600 through 1631. The one to make his way from England to the U.S. is a man named William James Kelsey and was born in 1600 and died in 1677 who had a boy in which he named John Kelsey. William venturerd to New England in which he ounded Newtowne, now Cambridge, Massachusets and also Hartford and Clinton in Connecticut.

What were the obstacles that they met?

I don't know the exact troubles they had because I was out of town when they had their excursion, But some possible problems they had were that they had to cross the ocean which was difficult because they needed a boat and to get across the sea.
