Who am I?

I’m Kiesha Necoule Olivo, a 19-year-old second-year college student at Cebu Technological University, Tuburan Campus, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. I’m an only child raised by my mom, and I grew up in a broken family. This background has shaped my personality-I tend to be a mix of nonchalant and serious. I’m not really into making jokes; sometimes I’m hyper, but I can also shut down quickly when I need to.

People often say I look intimidating because I tend to frown when I’m focused or deep in thought. But on the other hand, I’m easy to get along with. I’m a good listener and you can trust me with your secrets-I’m pretty forgetful, so your rants are safe with me!

Where did I grow up?

I grew up in Barangay Carmelo, Tuburan, Cebu. The streets of my barangay shaped who I am-I found lifelong friends and a family bonded not by blood, but by heart.

What is my educational background?

I completed elementary at Carmelo Elementary School, then attended Tuburan National High School for my early high school years. I transferred to Saint Anthony Academy of Tuburan for grades 9 and 10, finishing junior high there, then returned to Tuburan National High School for senior high. Now, I am a proud second-year student at CTU Tuburan Campus.

What are my hobbies and interests?

I love reading novels-both digital and print. Photography is another passion, especially capturing sunsets and scenic views. Singing, writing poems for loved ones, and watching movies alone are my favorite ways to unwind. I also collect perfumes and lipsticks, and adore dogs and cats-they’re like siblings to me.

One of my proudest achievements is reaching university. It’s a tough journey, and I made it here with only one application and no backup plan. That determination makes me proud.

I dream of building my own home, becoming a flight attendant and traveling the world, as what I've always dream of. Creating an animal shelter for strays has always been part of my plan. Most of all, I want to build a family where I truly belong.

Well, you’ve all seen me in person already, and I know some of you think I lack nutrition and seem weak. But here’s the funny thing: I eat a lot and never gain weight, no matter what I try! I also love to sleep after meals. And even though I complain while doing tasks, I always finish them-that’s just my quirky way of getting things done.

It is, and always will be, my younger self who inspires me the most. I want to show her what I’ve become despite everything I’ve been through. I want her to be proud of the person I am-strong, independent, and determined to succeed and face whatever comes my way. I want her to know that I love her deeply for being who she is, and that life goes on no matter what. No one can stop our dreams.
