The ship almost sunk and they were so scared and cold that it was very overwhelming! They went insane laughing and crying when they finally got to Elephant Island.</div>]]></description>

"When they awoke on April 11, there hearts sank. they were trapped like rats in a trap."<br><br>&nbsp; It means that they were moving really slowly like a beetle just gliding over the surface of the ocean.<br><br>They were freezing and their sleeping bag was moldy and wet.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There problem is that the men's fingers are frost bitten and they need to launch the boats before the ice breaks but they know that it is suicidal. "... it was a sight we did not like, for the floes were thudding against our floeburg with increasing violence."<br>It&nbsp; means that they were so slow with rowing the boat that a bird could beat them to South Geogia Island.<br>The men go though almost having their boat sink and they had numb feet. They also had to swicth between rowing and sleeping in the cold and wet sleeping bags and ended up trowing the worst two over the boat and into the water. They also had to go though birds pooping on them and also sinking because frezzing cold water waves kept splashing over them and they got even more wet.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Their deer skin sleeping bags where getting all messed up with mold ,some water eventuallty got in, there were bird pooping on them, and some of them got frostbite.&nbsp; They were constantly freezing cold. Most of them got seasick on water.The second questions answer is that the ship is moving very slowly. And the ship is very small to hold 5-6 people. They need to launch the boats before the ice breaks. But they say that it is a suicidal mission. ."Everthing in the boats had been soaked with flying spray and breaking waves..."<br>."They had not slept in 36 hours".<br>."Our temporary home was being swept away at an unpleasantly rapid rate".<br>."Launching boats would now be suicidal".<br><br>.Huge chuncks of their floe were breaking off<br>.Their hands and feet were freezing and&nbsp; being frostbitten.<br>.They are always wet.<br>. There is not alot of variety of their food.&nbsp;<br>.Numb body parts<br>."One lead after another passed them by too far away to reach".<br>.
