After reading and analyzing I believe that the electoral college needs to be changed. The needs of the people of this country evolve over time. The side arguing to keep the electoral college stated the importance of providing a voice for the minority and the importance preserving history. I agreed with this statement. Even so, the arguments towards how the population vote provided one vote per was what persuaded me so. The smaller states would get an advantage which would result in unfair treatment for others. Through the articles that i have , both the pros and cons side of the issue in very informative and have great evidence and reasoning. Although the cons about the electoral college may have a stronger and clear point as it brings unfairness and to the people if the worth of popular votes will not conclude who is elected with the uneven amount of votes from each state for the electoral college. I am persuade by the cons side and the negative impacts that the electoral college has onto the people.
