My summer was full of fun and unforgettable moments. I spent a lot of time swimming at the pool and enjoying the company of my friends. The summer started with relaxing days and exciting activities that made it very special.

Later, I went to the beach in Paralia, Greece, with my family and friends. We had an amazing time riding the banana boat, tasting delicious traditional food such as pita and tzatziki, and exploring beautiful places nearby.

After returning from the seaside, I continued to enjoy the pool with my friends. On August 6th, I celebrated my birthday at a cabin with a pool together with my closest friends, making it a very special day.

Another highlight of my summer was the Independence Day concert in Bălți, where my favorite singer, Jony, performed. At the end of the summer, I once again spent relaxing days at the pool with my friends.

This summer was full of joy, adventures, and special memories that I will always remember.

Volunteering – Noble Activity or Waste of Time?

Volunteering means helping other people without being paid. Both the people who receive help and the volunteers benefit. Those in need get support, and volunteers learn new things and feel useful.

Many people think volunteering is good. It teaches us to be kind, to work in a team, and to understand problems in society. At the same time, some people say it is a waste of time because it is unpaid and not everyone has the patience to do it.

For example, I once joined a school project where we collected food and clothes for poor families. I felt very happy to see their gratitude.

In conclusion, I believe volunteering is a noble activity. It helps people and makes us better. Even if it takes time and effort, it gives back more than money can.

Isaac Asimov

Have you heard of Isaac Asimov, the writer who predicted the future? He was an American author and biochemistry professor whose ideas still impress today.

Asimov imagined many jobs done by machines, including “automeals” for automatic breakfast — much like today’s smart kitchens.

He also predicted devices for seeing and talking to others. Now, smartphones let us make video calls, read, and take pictures — just as he imagined.

He was right that developed countries would benefit more from technology and warned that machines could make people bored and less creative.

Overall, Asimov wanted technology to serve humanity, not replace it.

You can’t have your cake and eat it.

The English proverb “You can’t have your cake and eat it” teaches us an important life lesson. It means that we cannot have two opposite things at the same time. If we eat the cake, it is gone, so we cannot still have it. The same idea applies to real life — we often have to make choices and accept that every choice has consequences.

For example, if someone spends all their money on fun and shopping, they will not be able to save for something important. This shows that people must decide what is more valuable to them and be responsible for their decisions.

In conclusion, this proverb reminds us that life is full of choices, and we cannot always get everything we want. Sometimes, we must give up one thing to gain another, and that is a part of growing up and being wise.

The TED-Ed video says that stereotypes are ideas people have about groups. Some sound good, like “Asians are smart” or “women are kind,” but they can still hurt.

They make people feel pressure to act in a certain way and to be perfect all the time.

They hide who people really are and stop others from seeing their true personality.

Even if they sound nice, stereotypes are not good. We should see each person as unique and special.

A fundamental human right

Today I want to talk about a very important human right — the right to freedom. This right is basic and necessary for every person in the world.

Freedom means that people can make choices about their own lives. It means we can say what we think, believe what we want, and live the way we choose, as long as we respect other people. When we have freedom, we feel safe, respected, and valued.

Freedom helps us grow. We can study, work, and follow our dreams. We can speak about problems and try to make our society better. When people are free, they can show their talents and make positive changes.

In many parts of the world, people do not have freedom. Some are treated unfairly because of who they are, their skin color, their language, or what they believe. Some children cannot go to school, and some families do not feel safe in their homes. This shows us that freedom is very important and we must protect it.

This is why protecting freedom is so important. Everyone — governments, communities, and each of us — has a role. We protect freedom when we listen to others, when we treat people with kindness, and when we speak up when something is wrong. Even small actions can help.

Freedom is important because it makes all other rights possible. If we are not free, we cannot learn, cannot speak, and cannot choose our own path. Freedom gives us the power to live our lives with dignity and hope.

In conclusion, the right to freedom is a basic human right that every person deserves. We must respect it, protect it, and support it for ourselves and for others. When people are free, societies are stronger, happier, and more peaceful.

Thank you.

People from different generations live together, but they do not always understand each other. This problem is called the generation gap. It happens because people have different ages, ideas and habits.

Young people like new technology, while older people prefer simple and traditional things. Because of this, they may argue or feel upset. Sometimes, they do not listen to each other.

Bridging the generation gap is important. Older people can give advice and life experience. Young people can help with phones, computers and the internet. For example, I help my grandparents use their phone, and they help me with advice. Also, teachers and students learn from each other every day.

In my opinion, generations should help each other because everyone can learn something new. This makes life better for everyone.
