         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Puzzle box:&nbsp;<br>purpose of the study no sharp line of demarcation between humans and animal&nbsp;<br>to distiguish how fast the animal learns to do a certain action in order to escape&nbsp;<br>to see if thers a gradual or sharp incresase/decrease of latency<br>Procedure<br>first he invented the puzzle box designed it to where the cat has to press the button to get out the box<br>it was more of a gradual to learn to get out of the box fast&nbsp;<br>gave positive reinforcement&nbsp;<br>Results<br>response is gradually strengthened by reward<br>law of effect if a response is followed by an unpleasant consequence, its connection to the situation is weakened. in contrast, if a response is followed by a positive<br>PR to increase good behavior you give a reward<br>NR to increase good behavior you give something unpleaseant<br>PP to decrease poor behavior u punish them by making them doing something they dont like<br>NP is taking away something they do like</div>]]></description>
