What gaps in my knowledge or skills does this highlight?
The gaps in my knowledge/skills have been quite big, as I have been viewing B, as an English student not an ELL, more so ELD student. I thought she was just acting out in class and not paying attention, but she was avoiding work as she had a few gaps in her education, as she transferred from Quebec to Ontario. Listed below is her exit interview for ENG2D0, I feel she still needs some work on elaborating her written thoughts.

What changes do I need to make to my practice?
I think some changes to learn would be: get to know my students on a more personal level (I would have figured out sooner that B was struggling because this was her 3rd language), and read more current articles/reach out to other ELL/ELD teachers (I could have contacted her old high school in Brampton to talk to her teacher).
