         <description><![CDATA[<div>Treatments include a back brace, surgery, and stretching therapy.&nbsp; Back braces are used to stabilize the spine and limit further curving.&nbsp; Surgery is used to put new bone around the fractured bone to promote better healing, spinal fusion to limit growth and movement, and metal rods attached to the vertebrae to promote a straight back.&nbsp; Stretching therapy helps improve the quality of life and helps with movement.</div>]]></description>
