yanek is now on a train to someplace where everyone thinks is there death and now he has no idea what to do but wait wait for his death because he was to weak to keep fighting anymore

yanek got of the train and went into the grass chamber terrified that he is going to die now after everything he went through and all the loss he's had and when he goes in there he starts to have a mental breakdown and asked for death and then to bis uprise he is not killed but showerd and realizes they still need them to work and after a minute he is given a new motivation to live.

yanek lost a button and for that the nazis punished him by beating him and then throun back in to his barracks and when he fell asleep with his back still screaming in pain he remembers his dream and that allies were coming and then when him and the other prisoners were sleeping the camp was bombed and luckily they did not hit the barraks
