the Shang Dynasty was the first civilization in China to develop a Writing system. To make the paper, they used mulberry and other bast fibers, fishnets, old rags, and hemp waste.

In the Zhou Dynasty, they were the people that invited horseback riding. this was important in this period because they used the Horses were used for military practice and or demonstration and exercise.

In this period there was a war that lasted for 254 years. also, there was frequent warfare which caused a lot of people to die this was also one of the most deadly era.

Confucianism was based on the teachings of a man named Confucius he was born about 550 B.C. to a farming family, He lived when rival kings fought each other for power, He was also the person who criticized these kings. He urged the people to follow the beliefs of their ancestors. If people would do that, Confucius believed, it would bring peace and Harmony to China.

In Chinese philosophy, Daoism, the word dao means path or the way. Daoism began with the idea of Laozi. Laozi lived during the same time as Confucius. Like Confucianism, Daoism but instead of teaching people harmony his teachings are how to live a good life.

A third philosophy stressed the importance of a system of laws. This became known as Legalism or the School of Law. Hanfeizi was the one who introduced Legalism he believed that people were born evil so that is why he placed these rules for the people to follow.

During the warring states period, Qin sent out a large cavalry force to defeat the other states after they defeated the other states which was the end of the Zhou dynasty. Qin also strengthen and unify China.
