strengths-

-I am passionate about physical education.

- I have seen sports from youthful perspective.

- I have playing experience with many sports.

weakness-

-my age can be an issue as being 16 limits me from doing certain things as i have other commitments such as collage.

- limited teaching experience as i have only done placement for 50 hours therefore there will be people with more experience.

-lack of specialist knowledge (anatomy and physiology)

opportunities-

- getting a placement within a secondary school while at collage.

-gain extra qualifications(teaching trampolining/gymnastics qualifications)

- Get a D-D-M in level 3 sport coaching and development to ensure a place teaching in university.

threats-

-Lots of competition for placements so may not be successful.

-The cost of getting qualifications for example level 1 coaching qualifications usually cost around 150 pound.

-Things may happen in personal life that may stop from achieving my collage grade.

I am evie fothergill and i am currently studying a level 3 sport coaching and development course at college.From this course I learn a lot about the job role and therefore I would be able to apply my knowledge and teach others to help develop there personal skills.

Whilst been at collage I have took place in a placement, in a school which overall requires me to be a “assistant coach” or “assistant teacher” within sport. As my placement took place in a secondary school i did things such as teach pe lessons to the students and prepared the facilities before hand. From this placement it has helped development my confidence, communication and self confidence which I feel asthough are all qualities a pe teacher should have as for example when leading a session teachers must talk loud so everyone participating can hear therefore there is no misunderstanding.
