It looks like a real album cover you would see at a local store and definitely one that would catch the attention of a large audience. The color choices made in the piece are very well thought out with the various forms of earth tones. The font also works out very well with the theming of the album (the old West) with the fading type-letter font. The dog skull, antlers, and faded flowers also bring across a very edgy vibe to the album, making it seem very tough and hardcore. The composition of the images and the text is also very well thought out, letting the images used be very well-balanced out throughout the space. The only suggestion I would have is if the subtext under the album’s title could be a little bit smaller because it seems to almost overpower the main text. The back cover is also very simple—yet overall easy on the eyes. The simple shapes placed and the overall minimal number of colors used make the cover not hard on the eyes. The only thing I would suggest is to possibly get rid of the white layering behind the album’s title. I love the blend of the colors and the way they go together. My only suggestion would be to work with the text better on the front by centering it and not leaving the extra space on the right.
