1st. step is to look around and get a better understanding of my current location which in turn will better let me know what type of communication would best fit this current environment
2nd. After taking in my surroundings I will then evaluate the people in the surrounding area; are they on the phone, are they looking at me, and are they reading for communication or not. 
3rd.
