Anton: - Hello. I'm phoning to you because i'm intersted in buying one of the guitars that you have on site, but i want some details.

I was in full attention and ready to purchase it immediately.

Liza: Okay. What's the guitar?

Anton: - It's a twelve string guitar AC-12 as I see here. I just want to know how fast and safe could you send me this guitar?”

Liza: - We can send you a courier if the buy is above seven thousand for free, or you can pick it up in a post appartement. However, let me see more about this guitar on site (waiting 3s). Oh, we're sorry but we don't have this guitar in stock.

Something has shattered in me. 

Anton: - What do you mean? It's said on site that it's

Liza: - But it isn't. Sadly that's the truth. Can I help you with anything else?

At this point I just fell apart cause that was the last shop in Kyiv where I saw an opportunity. After a moment of silence I quetly said:

- No, unfortunately…

And hang up the phone

I love the holidays, and even more I love to make gifts to my loved ones. So today I'm excited because I chose a birthday present for a friend in an online store. I decided that it would be easier this way and the present itself would be neater and more presentable. Shopping on the Internet attracts me with its speed and convenience. Dialogue: 

- Hello, good afternoon, delivery from Happy Holiday. Will it be convenient for you to meet the courier in 10 minutes?

- Hello, yes, of course.

- Cash.

- Okay, expect your delivery.

- Thank you, good bye.

Pov Zlata: 

A gloomy autumn day did not portend anything unusual. I was on my way to work, and it took me a long time to find a tie, which is an essential detail of our dress code. What is my job, you may ask. So far, just an ordinary order-delivery clerk. 

Arriving at work, I was immediately given a huge list of addresses that I had to go around. I had to take a few more calls from customers before I could deliver the orders. 

Some time later, I was dropping off the last two orders. It was getting late, and tiredness was taking its toll. 

Dialogue: 

- Hello, here is your package.

- Thanks, can you hold it? I will get out the right amount.

- No problem.

- Here, keep your money, here without change.

- Okay, have a nice day.

- And you.

Pov Zlata: 

When I gave the penultimate order, I felt a strange premonition, but I didn't pay attention to it. And in vain! Half an hour later there was a conversation where it turned out that I had mixed up the packages!

Pov Masha: 

Oh, I like polite couriers. Hooray, finally I'll see the gift set live. It must be beautiful. Oh, what is this?! Electric kettle?  Hey, I didn't order this. So what's now? I guess, I'll call the courier. 

Dialogue: 

-Hello again. You just gave me a package, but this is not what I ordered. Could you mix anything up? You delivered the wrong one to me! I ordered a gift set, but I got an electric kettle!

-Hello! -I'm sorry, there's been some kind of misunderstanding... I'll come by to pick up your package and return the money. I apologize again!

Pov Zlata: 

It's a good thing I just handed over another package! It must have been the right one. After quickly apologizing to the other customer, I picked up his package and promised to deliver the right one in ten minutes. 

And here I am again, delivering something instead of an electronic kettle. 

Dialogue: 

-Good evening! Here is your order, this time it is correct, please check it. And sorry again, the company will give you a full refund.

-Yes, the order is correct...

Pov Zlata:

Suddenly I saw my boyfriend coming towards us. You could read the surprise in his eyes.

It turned out that the girl I was delivering the gift set to was my boyfriend's sister! The bf had told us a lot about each other and had wanted us to meet for a long time, but no one thought it would happen this way.

After we got to known each other, it turned out that the second wrong order was for a friend of a boyfriend whose birthday was today! We spent the evening at a birthday party.

Pov Masha: 

It was fun. And I realized that online purchases also have disadvantages. From now on, I will check my orders in the presence of a courier or at the post office. Although in this situation I am even glad that everything turned out that way.

 After a while, she stopped at a book that her mother wanted to purchase for her own library collection a long time ago. This was the best alternative of all possible, because the website was informing customers that they have fast delivery and the present will be on the next day! Thinking that she would be able to pay for the books straight to the courier in cash after receiving the long-awaited gift and checking it for integrity and appearance, Tina quickly placed an order: filled in customer information, ​​clarified the terms of payment and delivery, wrote a mailbox and of course checked the final order, so that no technical mistakes occurred. Finally, that crucial day came, Tina was already looking forward to the courier and could not wait for the moment when she would present the book to her mother. It's been a long time since the exact delivery time stated on the website, which the girl was oriented on. No one called her or at least warned her about such an unscheduled delay. Tina called on her own, where she was answered by a pleasant voice and apologized for the delay, the voice promised that arrival would be in 15 minutes. There were only a few hours left before the feast, so when Tina saw the courier in the walls of her hallway, she was incredibly happy. After a quick evaluation of the item, the girl ran for the money prepared in advance to pay, and noticed the embarrassed face of the courier. It turned out that he did not have a change for her. Due to the lack of time, Tina did not argue with the courier, so he left with her money, not finally calculating the order. 

After properly celebrating mother's birthday and finally presenting a gift, on the next day Tina returned to this problem and is going to write to the support of the company, so we will see what the answer they will provide her and how they solve this issue. To be continued…

I wrote to the online store about what happened, but they wrote back to me that it was not their mistake and I should contact the post office. When I went to the post office again, I was told that I should have opened the package immediately when I picked up the gift. I returned home very upset.

The day before the New Year, I received a message that a package was waiting for me at the post office. The online store, which remembered my situation, decided to make a gift for the holidays and sent me a vase instead of a broken one.

       What happened to me? I decided to prepare in advance for the most desirable day of the whole year. So, I chose the place of the celebration, formed a list of guests and wrote a detailed menu of things that I should have at the celebration. Moreover, I bought a green costume to be the most beautiful girl ever. But, unfortunately, my sister accidentally tore it, and, as a result, I had to look for new clothes for the festive evening. That`s why, I hastily started looking for something in online stores. Cool! Almost the first thing, I saw, was a very beautiful snow-white dress with sequins. I immediately understood: "Yes! This is it!" I placed the order and began to wait. By the way, there was very little time left until X-day, but the consultant said that the order should arrive on time. So, here I come to the main disappointment of the day. The dress arrived on time, but it was the wrong color and all dirty. Moreover, one side was longer and the other shorter. I immediately understood that it was a failure.

        In addition, I returned the dress, but it was not possible to return the good mood!
 
 

  I decided to order a viral dress to be a beauty queen on prom evening. I've heard creepy stories about that distributor but I didn't take it seriously. I thought "Oh, come on, millions of people order from this site, what could happen? Maximum — you will get your dress with bad quality stitches". 

  I put the dress into the basket and paid the full price. I mean the full price not only in a material sense... 

  That order awoke my conscience. I knew a lot of firms use illegal employees, especially helpless kids. Their lives are sold for slavery. But when I got my package and took a closer look at it...I was soooo scared! The dress fitted me perfectly and the stitches were good. A dream outfit! But after an hour of my gladness, I saw a writing on the label. It was distinctly written among washing instructions: "Help us". 

  I've immediately thrown the dress to the other corner of my room. I've heard such stories but I couldn't believe!  And then I started thinking: "Sofia, how could you order that dress if someone had predictions about the dishonesty of the distributor? And now you hope that the sign about industrial slavery was fake! Maybe it was. But you can't even try on this dress anymore. If you wear it, you will make something amoral".  

  Although one part of me thought it was a stupid joke, the other part of me refused of wearing this dress. The story ended with a new, offline purchase in a store, which a can surely trust.

She cried, because it was almost all of her money. But then she got a hold of herself and decided to spent the rest of her money to buy materials for DIY bag!

So, if someday with you happen something bad, it will be for the best in the future. 

Especially if it happens on Christmas. 

            Few days ago I was surfing different sites that sell books and created the list what I want to buy because there was so much sails to Black Friday. I chose a lot of Dan Brown’s books that all my friends and Internet articles recommended. I also took a few thrillers that were popular in reading community. I was in position of affect and even euphory because of such generous sails that I forgot for a long moment that this is not my favourite genre. I had read so little amount of detectives and thrillers because it was peculiarly interesting for me. Usually I read novels or fantasy, I feel comfortable in these genres of books and don’t like so much other types. But seductive sails made me think that I could try to read these books and maybe changed my mind. Sometimes it so interesting and exiting to try something new. So I bought them.

            And I sit beside the box with books, try to read them and understand that I won’t like them. So I sit and think what to do with these books. Maybe I can give them as a present to someone. Maybe I can sell them. But now I can feel only sadness and fatigue because of my unaccurate choice.

Enid is fond of plush toys which I can't stand. Last week she was scrolling IKEA and found a big  terrible plush spider. My roommate decided that it's in my style and I will like it. I don't know, how, but she made an online purchase and ordered that toy with her phone. Several days passed, when delivery man knocked the dormitory door and gave me that «amazing» present with a note.

I opened the box and I was terrified. Spider was so horrible. It had smile on his face and his legs didn't look real. Unfortunately, it wasn't toxic and I couldn't use it for my chemical experiments to find a poison, that can easily kills any kind of creature. I was deathly disappointed, but didn't tell about that my roommate. Enid adores online purchases, but it's the most awful thing, I have ever experienced. So it's one more reason, why gadgets are total waste of time.
