I have enjoyed teaching you so much this year! I'm excited for you to have the opportunity to show what you really know. Remember to use your strategies and take your time. This is your moment, and I'm so happy that I had a chance to be a part of it this year. I am so proud of the hard work you have put in this year. You have continued to push yourself to grow and become a better reader and writer. You have shown up and given your teachers your best efforts since the beginning of the year. This is the time to show off how far you have come. I believe in you and know that you will do your best.

To all my ML students- I have really enjoyed working with you this year! It amazes me how you are able to translate your home language into English! You are an incredible bunch & I am really proud of you! Most Americans can only speak English but you can speak at least 2 languages, if not more! Don't get worried about these EOG exams. I know you can do it! You have learned so much this year and now it's time to show what you can do! I'm so proud of every one of you!!!

I am so proud of your hard work this school year! Walking beside you on a small part of your journey has been an honor. Each time I see you working through a word problem in math or an informational text in science, I see you employ your strategies. You have been practicing this all year! Remember this box breathing strategy. If you get stressed or anxious, close your eyes and imagine drawing this box in your mind. Remember, you have the ability to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system. You can change your body's response by using your breath! Yay, respiratory system. 😄 This test is one small step on your journey; it does not determine your final destination. When you are in that calm state, you can achieve anything! Can't wait to celebrate with you after these tests are done.

It has been my pleasure to work with you all for the 2nd year now! I have bragged about what a wonderful team you are to many people on many occasions. You demonstrate character and a strong work ethic, and for those reasons, I KNOW that you will do well on the EOGs (and beyond)! Remember all of the academic and stress-reducing strategies and use them! Now take some deep breaths and do what you know how to do...you got this!

What an amazing group of students you are! Your hard work, perseverance, and growth have brought you to the finish line of seventh grade — and that’s something to be proud of.

We know the EOGs can feel overwhelming, but don’t underestimate your strength. You’ve been preparing all year, and you are ready. Close your eyes and picture opening that score report — imagine seeing a Level 3, 4, or even a 5. If you can see it, you can achieve it.

Believe in yourself. Trust the work you’ve put in. And remember: RMS is cheering for you every step of the way. You’ve got this!
