Joe pass Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the son of Mariano Passalacqua, a Sicilian-born steel mill worker, was raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He received his first guitar, a Harmony model bought for $17, on his 9th birthday. Pass' father recognized early that his son had "a little something happening" and pushed him constantly to pick up tunes by ear, play pieces not written specifically for the instrument, practice scales and not to "leave any spaces" - that is, to fill in the sonic space between the notes of the melody.

A few additional questions would be ...
what were some of your influences?
The link to your song is missing and reason for selecting this song doesn't appear. As for the YELLOW (analysis of the song) ... you were to describe the song using a minimum of 3 elements of music (we covered all 6 during the 2nd month of class -- pitch, texture & harmony, duration, form, dynamics, timbre).

Please refer to the Part A sheet which contains all success criteria (research notes, mind map). Another part of this project was to provide the answers to your 6 questions.
