1. Prayer (Salah)

Based on Surah Al- Ankabut (29:45), prayer serves as a spiritual shield:

•Restraint: It prohibits immorality and wrongdoing.

• Awareness: It instills a constant remembrance and fear of Allah.

• Sincerity: It encourages Ikhlas (sincerity) and obedience.

2. Fasting (Sawm)

As mentioned in Surah Al- Baqarah, fasting was decreed so that believers may become righteous:

• Character building: It develops taqwa (God- consciousness), empathy for others, and self-discipline.

• Spiritual Growth: It helps believers draw closer to Allah by recognizing His constant observation.

• Protection: It weakens the influence of Satan and fosters more acts of worship.

3. Charity (Zakah)

Derived from Quranic teachings, Zakah serves both the giver and the community:

• Purification: It purifies the wealth and the soul of the believer.

• Growth: It is a means for Allah to cause an "increase" or blessing in one's life.

• Reassurance: The prayers and blessings associated with charity provide spiritual reassurance

4. Pilgrimage (Hajj)

Hajj acts as a rigorous exercise in discipline and devotion:

• Commandment: It trains believers to strictly follow Allah's commands and avoid prohibited acts.

• Etiquette: Pilgrims must actively avoid indecent speech, disputes, and disobedience.

• Focus: It requires staying entirely devoted to good deeds and worship
