A person who can take charge in any situation and make the best of it.They put there team in front of themselves in any situation. He or she watches there backs and protects them. I would call myself somewhat of a leader. Im the oldest out of 4 children and I love to take charge of a situation and control it in a way. Give everyone a job and the work or project goes way more smoothly. As I grow older I realize more and more how in many different situations, it's usually I who will speak up and get the work going. And I'm not trying to brag or anything, I'm saying this very modestly and humbly. A leader is smart, wise, flexible yet stubborn, honest, is committed, and confident, dependable, and many more characteristics. A good leader I know is my leader at a place I volunteer, she is able to delegate a job out to me and my friends. And she tells us about her problems she has when it comes to leading. A leader is different from a boss, something I learned from my drama teacher is "a leader goes forward in his or her group, makes the plans, helps out as much as they can, they are in the action, putting others before themselves. Think about a boss, more sits around and lets the others do the work for them." I've been called a mother by most of my friends, or the leader of a friend group. Maybe I'm the most active in the group or something. All leaders are different, whether you think of your teacher as a leader or a president, all leaders are different in their own ways. My drama teacher, Mr. Daniel, is a great example of a leader, to me. I naturally don't lead, but I also don't follow. However, if leadership is needed somewhere and no one else will or can do it, I am able to adapt to the position. I think a good leader should be able to understand human thinking and use that to be able to get people to see your point. They should also be compassionate and emotionally supportive. A good leader shouldn't be afraid of anyone else threatening their cause, and needs to be selfless in doing more for their people and less for themselves.
