I chose this picture out of the rest because if you think deep, you can look at it from so many different point of views. Whether you are comparing the mind of a male and female, the difference in facial structure, or the fact that the image is in black and white. I personally like this photo because it shows that men and women are different. In the picture, the women is looking in one direction whereas the man is looking another. Almost like they are looking at different perspectives.

This is one of my favorite pictures. Within the past year or so, I really go into photography. It is one of my hobbies. I love taking pictures on my spare time but the fun part is when I get to analyze and edit them. There are so many things you can capture in just one photo... like this one. Its a picture of me taking one. The scenery, the way the light hits the rocks, the time of day it is, the weather, best part of this is waking up at 4am to drive and go catch the sunrise is one of the best thing.it is just amazing.

This image shows two females looking curious. I chose this image because you cant see what the lady in the painting is curious about. We as people are always eager about something we cant see. To me, the image explains an older lady in the painting and a small child looking at her as if she is looking up to her.

Figure 1.Cheremeh, R(Jan,23 2019).Red moon. Gifford Pinchot State Park York Pa.

I connect to this picture in so many ways and one of the ways that it speaks to me or connect to me is capturing the moment. On Monday, January 21st, 2019 the news announced there is going to be a red moon and it won't happen again till 2021. I got out of my chair and started planning, the first location, second how long im going to be out and third how to keep myself warm. I got my gear left out and whiles I was driving I decided to stop by a nearby park and I set my tripod stood outside for about 15 minutes in the freezing cold just to be able to capture this moment for the class and be able to express it to whoever reads this so the most outstanding part was staying warm and capturing the moment. As a photographer you have to be ready to capture everything just like in life you never know what is up your way which means you have to be ready always.

My second topic I may be considering is the people of Pompeii. I find it a devastating eruption and also a work of art. To me , it is very interesting that a volcano that erupted in 79 A.D. killed over two thousand people and left the city destroyed. The peoples bodies remained the same after the eruption, meaning their facial expressions and body movement turned into ash. So much of the city remains untouched . I believe this would be a great work of art for my final project. A Point of View: Pompeii's not-so-ancient Roman remains. (2012, November 23).

This painting is by Frida Kahlo in 1944, which is also a portrait of herself. This painting, as most of her paintings, were done with oil on Masonite. Frida was in a tragic accident which left her bedridden. Because the accident left her with endless surgeries to put her body back together, she painted. This painting is a vivid portrait of her life. One thing that sticks out the most is how her spinal cord is perceived by the accident as an earthquake to her body. Although she has tears running down her face, the painting is showing the audience of what she has to face and as well as challenging herself with her difficulties with trying to look at her life in more of a positive aspect. The paintings original is located in Museo Dolores Olmedo in Xochimilco, Mexico City, Mexico.

Scrolling on the explore page on Instagram, I came across an image that looked similar to this. I saw this place was called Easter Island. It is located on the Pacific coast and belongs to the country of Chile. The island is literally located in the middle of the ocean and is so isolated. They are a lot of theories behind this place. One that is believed to be true is that these heads (Moai) represented a deceased head of a lineage. The islands original name is Rapa Nui. It was given it a new name when a European visitor discovered it on Easter Sunday.

For this week's Journal, I chose an image I took myself. This image is effective because it could be used for an ad to get people more interested in the unique design and features of the car. This image can be impactful in a way to help motivate someone to get an expensive car. I made the redness stand out and made everything else just a plain solid color. I think it makes the photo pop but not too distracting and it gets peoples attention. I find this photo interesting because only I would be able to know that I had cropped a divider going across the door. If you look close at the texture, it has ridges along the door. You can look at my Instagram page @_toyse for more photos.
