To begin with, US films had the biggest proportion in the UK cinema at about 76% whereas it was also the biggest percentage in Australia, which was at about 66%. Then, others were screened least in the UK at just 4% while Australian films had the least percentage, at 2% in Australia. On the other hand, the cinema admission in the UK decreased sharply from about 125% to 55% from 1978 to 1984.
