6th Grade ELA- Student was struggling to format her thesis. The teacher asked, "How do you think you start?" This helped the teacher to understand her student's thinking process and remind the student of what she should be doing to begin the task.

In the kindergarten classroom the teacher encourages the students to think about kite and cat diagram when trying to identify if a word should begin with c or k. The teacher encourages the student to refer back to the diagram and think about what the next letter is.
