As I look at this hanging rock, it's give me the feeling of wondering how this rock end up in this position. How many bright days and pealing nights went through to this rock with this status. This links to Mutton Bird Dance on session 3, where the video focuses on the slow motion of the human body, and this rock's movement through out the time can be define as 'adagio' a slow and steady movement, to end up between two huge rocks that protects the small rock to give hope of staying in this wonderful world.

The Human Rock

Wondering though this walk, I came across a devoted rock that made me feel it is protecting the space. As the picture shows the rocks changed throughout the years to become in particular shape. This land is originally Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people land. It made me realise the strong connection the Aboriginal people have with their land, and that this human rock id protecting and looking after their land. This links to Hamm's reading "walking with place" where the emphasis is on the perspective of Aboriginal people and their connection to their land, environment, and culture.

The Cave

In this photo, the cave represent a shelter for the wildlife animals that lives in this land. The cave to them is a safe place where they can hide for the rainy day and dark, scary nights. I felt attached to this cave as it hidden with the leaves and grass that appeals to give a sense of security and belonging. Also, i felt like this cave was talking to me in different language where I was able t understand that this cave it could be a home for some animals. This links to Roy, Baker, and Hamilton's reading of understanding Arts as a 'language'. Things can communicate something valuable and beyond the words, this what arts do for us and lies its real value to us as adults as well as to children.
