If a teacher can speak on and correct microaggression, the same idea is pushed on to their students. The ways we have all been a victim of a microaggression is when teachers always ask for "a big strong boy" to help carry things in a classroom instead of a girl.

There’s this podcast- the cult of pedagogy, that talks about this exact issue, and in it they mention that micro aggressions also contribute to this savior complex which puts teachers in situations that they shouldn’t be in. And I think it’s a good reminder about how aware we need to be of what we say and do.
