Without doubting, vegetarian diet which excluded meat reduced risk of getting cardiovascular disease. However, everything must have pros and cons.I have different opinions on the statement, which being vegetarian is not healthier than meat eater. This is to say, vegetarian diet lack of food can provide high protein.Since,Protein is an essential nutrient as the body use protein to build and repair muscle, bone, hair and skin, and nearly every other body part.

From my perspective, I don't think that being a vegetarian is better than a meat eater. This is because we gain most of the nutrients from our daily diet. Being a vegetarian means that our energy supply is only depends on the green plants and fresh fruits. This is to say, meats and dairy products which contain large portions of energy are eliminated from our daily diet. If we just eat vegetables and fruits only, our body may not be able to carry out vigorous activity, and thus affected our physical health.
Additionally, due to long-term insufficiently nutrients intake, a vegetarian may also suffer from mental disaster. As they are lacking of energy to carry out the daily activities, they will literally being upset and disappointed about themselves. Meaning to say, their self-esteem and self-confidence which are substantially important in maintaining the positive thinking are being destroyed, as they cannot perform well in their works and study. From day-to-day, they will be triggled by self-doubt and self-denial, and lose the ability to express themselves.

First to discuss this topic, we must know the reasons for one to practice vegetarianism.
Considering personal health, practicing vegetarianism will increase the risk of facing health issue as one is not having a balance diet, which one is not supplying the body with its needs. Some might argue that consuming meat might leads to other diseases, and the protein is able to be obtained via other sources, such as legumes, however, in fact, eating meat in a control range will not bring harm, and, on the other hand, beans and legumes are not a perfect substitute of meat as consuming excessive fibers might cause cramping in intestines.
Concerning animal welfare, it is good for the animals as the needs of meat decreases, the number of animals being harm will reduce.
The greatest benefit of practicing vegetarianism , without a shadow of a doubt, is reduce negative impact to the environment. To elaborate, being vegetarian reduces air pollution as it reduces farming, which is the main contributing factor to nitrous oxide production. That is to be said, being vegetarian reduces global warming. Apart from this, a reduction is animal waste that runoff into waterways helps to improve the quality of the streams, rivers, and oceans. Minimizing water pollution, the aquatic ecosystems are improved. Also, it saves large amounts of water, which in return, water crisis is prevented. (and many other, lazy to type, mostly it benefits from reducing harms caused by farming, but now, being vegetarian is not the only way to cope with these unfavorable effects since our progress in meat cultivation has achieved a mature stage, which could possibly substitute farming, as our new method to produce meat in the near future)

A vegetarian diet means a person primarily does not consume meat. As a biology student who studied nutrition, I disagree with the fact that being vegetarian is better than being a meat eater. In like manner, being vegetarian increases the risk of having nutrient deficiency which is Protein. Protein is an essential nutrient that our body needs to build and repair our muscle, bone, skin and even hair and almost every part of our body. When we are insufficient in protein it can actually cause us to have an imbalanced diet which will then lead to nutrient deficiency. Besides, we are going to deal with the problem of hair loss when we have a deficiency in protein. No doubt, being a vegetarian actually brings benefits too. Being vegetarian actually improved our heart health because vegetables are usually high in soluble fiber. When we have high soluble fiber in our body it can keep our blood sugar levels stable and decrease the risk of having type 2 diabetes. In short, having a proper and balanced nutrient diet is the key to being healthy, therefore I would like to reiterate my point that being a meat eater is better than being vegetarian.

In my opinion, being a vegetarian is not better than a meat eater. Although eating meat can increase the risk of getting cardiovascular disease, it still has its advantages that cannot be replaced by vegetables, fruits and beans. Meat contains way more protein compared to beans. Besides, it is easier for our bodies to absorb animal protein compared to plant protein. This means that a vegetarian diet is not able to provide us with sufficient protein. Therefore, if we do not have any health issues like meat intolerance or meat allergy, we should always take a balanced diet.

Veganism can easily be categorized as one of the most controversial topics as of now. Nowadays, people worldwide have been debating on whether being vegan is better than meat eater. As for me, veganism weighs more than meat eater in terms of their level of importance. To start off, I would like to explain this from the health perspective. Considering vegetables are packed with fibers which are important for our digestive system, they are also imperative in providing our bodies with essential vitamins and minerals where meat based products cannot provide us in abundance. On the other side, eating too many meat based products can actually aggravate our physical condition. Based on scientific researches, people who eat red meats at a regular basis has a higher chance in developing cardiovascular disease compared to vegetarians which causes them to have a average shorter lifespan. The reason being meats are high in saturated fats which causes our arteries to be clogged and potentially developing coronary diseases in the future.
I would like to direct my discussion towards ethics. Veganism is actually a philosophical way of living which exempts us from bringing harm to the animals in the world. We have studied morality and it states that any form of cruelty towards animals is actually morally incorrect as we believe that God created every living being and they should have their rights to lives. That is to say killing animals in order to obtain their meat for foods and hides for clothes or bags should be banned. But I wouldn't go as far as saying eating animals is a sin as the world goes by the order of nature where the strong hunts for the weak in order to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. However, too much killing is entirely wrong morally and even environmentally.
Speaking of which, raising poultries is harming the environment. The reason being rearing animals requires water, food and energy, these are all resources from the nature and the more we spend them the less they remain in this world. If we studied the law of entropy, the loss of energy will cause a disorder in the universe and it disrupts the balance in the ecosystem and the more it accumulates the more disorderly our world gets which in this case it is true. The animals create more carbon footprint which causes the world to be more susceptible to global warming and this threatens human of their homeland and natural disasters are happening more often. This could be interpreted as the mother nature's response towards human activities and it could possibly cause the extinction of homo sapiens.
( Sounds dramatic) Anyways the environment is being harmed when we farm for animal meats too much and this has to stop before it gets worse.
At this point, just give up on reading cause it's just random stuffs now. Up till now, we haven't discussed about religions i believe when we are faced with a predicament such as this we should ultimately face ourselves and understand the doctrines and practices from religions as this is where the whole idea of veganism even existed from. Some people believe that eating animals will bring karma towards an individual when we consume the bad energy of karma will pile up inside a person and it will bring a person with bad lucks. For examples, Hinduism they practice veganism because they believe in spirits and energy flows in a person's soul hence they forbid themselves from eating animal products in order to prevent the karma and maintain the orderly manner of the nature. But there is one interesting thing which is the sacrifice of animals they make for their God. This act is not contradictory instead it is actually to honor their gods and make sure they uphold the supremacy of The Absolute Being in this world. Hmm, it's just a belief so I actually feel quite neutral about it. Moving on Buddhism, they abstain themselves from consuming meat products regarding ethical the idea originated from Buddha where he wanted to release the animals from their suffering and exempt cruelty among the animals. So it's actually quite similar to the modern days, Buddhist will have a certain period of time where they choose to practice veganism for religious purposes and for entertainment purposes but meh vegan is still vegan.
At this point, we know that religions is detrimental in determining whether people might choose to become a vegan or not. Here's some from Christianity, long ago they actually believed that Jesus is a vegan? The followers will then choose to be a vegan as well as a form of faith and belief in The One. But then stories refuted the fact and some are actually uncertain in their decisions but whatever it may be just do what you want. The point is people tend to believe in faith and it will lead them to making decisions based on faith alone.
It has been too long and I just wanted to write this for fun so don't use this as tomorrow's discussion.
All in all, being a vegan depends entirely on the person despite having rational thoughts on veganism or even to purely following you faith, I think it is a better choice to become vegan. But I myself am not one! In fact I actually hate vegan diets. Because I have tried it once before and it sucks. Surely people might say you need to have the correct foods and correct habits but I will say this:
In order to fulfill all the necessary requirements, we actually need to have a considerably good finance as buying the plant based products can be expensive especially if your trying to get yourself some nutrient dense foods. I will leave it to your imagination for the examples. The next thing is you will be tired like a dog throughout the whole day. And you need to have a neat schedule and eat periodically throughout the day which demands you to invest more of your time in eating. Trust me it is not enjoyable. One piece of advice if you want to start veganism, do not rely on your motivation to push you through, it will eventually burn you out and do not do it just for losing weights it is unhealthy to lose it that way and you will regret it someday. Delicacies exist to be savored, why restrict yourself if you have the freedom to eat what you want.
'La Vie Est Belle'. The question is, which type of person you want to be?.....
--------------End---------------

In my opinion ,we should have a balanced diet. We cannot deny that vegetarianism can prevent lots of diseases such as coronary disease. On the other hand, by having a vegetarian diet you can lose weight. But the fact is that we are losing our muscle while switching from a meat diet to vegetarian. Additionally, a long term veggie diet is quite dangerous because of insufficient nutrient intake. Meat has high protein and it is used to build our muscles and it helps to repair wounds.

Consuming sufficient quantities of vegetables that are packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants can even help to enhance the physical prowess of athletes, as well as boost their overall well-being. So ,it is not crucial we must have a 100% plant-based diet to still be healthy.

Although many research have shown that vegetarian procure a healthier body than a meat eater, I could not agree that vegetarian is better than meat eater. First thing first, the pure vegan diet supply inadequate nutrients to the body. That is to say, only vegetables are not able to provide needed nourishment to an individual. For instance, high protein food cannot be obtained by vegetables itself bexause of the natural components. Thus, this may cause nutrient deficiency which consequently lead to stunted growth.
Furthermore, there are actually many types of synthesised vegetarian 'meats' which are made up of carbohydrates that causes obesity when one eats that frequently. This goes without saying that the effect of consuming the 'fake' meat is actually worse than consuming the authentic one. To add on, some vegetarian stall tend to fry the vegetarian products using oil massively in order to make the dishes appealing. This can actually engender huge intake of oil causing an unhealthy food being eaten by the vegetarians.
All. in all, I think it's not about the type of food we consume determine our health but the way we consume different types of food influence our health level. Hence, we should strictly follow the food pyramid to get the accurate proportion of nutrition to maintain our health.

From my point of view, being vegetarian is not better than a meat eater. Our body needs various nutrients to maintain our health and the proper function of the cells. Hence, the nutrients from vegetables and fruits cannot replace the nutrients from meats. In like manner, consuming only plant-based diet engenders malnutrition, especially to children. For instance, this increases the risk of lower bone mineral content and height of kids. Therefore, being vegetarian does not helps us to stay fit, but pernicious to our body. In fact, we must take balanced diet which includes vegetables and animal products in order to stay healthy.

It is undeniable that being a vegetarian may sound more environmentally friendly because we don't kill animals just to satisfy our hunger, regardless of how cruel the slaughter is. However, the truth is that the variety of food available to vegetarians is limited because many of them are processed foods high in sugar, sodium, and preservatives. Similarly, vegetarians do not have many food options. In the long term, they may develop malnutrition diseases due to a lack of vitamin B12, which is commonly found in meat. Due to this, people who follow a plant-based diet must purchase supplements to maintain their body's health. In short, being a vegetarian is not better than eating meat. It seems like there are much more cons than pros to being a vegetarian, as it engenders a slew of problems, particularly in terms of body health.

I don’t agree that being a vegetarian is better than being a meat eater. Meat can be necessary for adequate nutrition. The human body has been designed and calibrated for meat. It works best with meat. People who don’t eat meat have problems that they need to take supplements or medication. A simple google search shows micronutrients that we cannot get from plants. For example, Vitamin B-12, Creatine, Carnosine, Heme iron, and Taurine are only gained by eating meat-based sources. On the other hand, for essential minerals that can be found in both plant and animal foods, there is a stark difference in the absorption of these micro-nutrients. Animal-based nutrients have higher bioavailability as well as less hindrance to the digestion. What this means is when you pick a packet of carrots that lists the nutritional details, it doesn’t automatically mean that humans can absorb all the micro-nutrients in them.

Meat is a great source of energy. It contains protein, fat, minerals, and many vitamins that help to keep your body strong, prevent anemia and play important roles in brain and muscle function. High levels of amino acids such as cysteine, tryptophan, and tyrosine are also found in red meat which might increase your neurotransmitter levels; mood stabilizers can be found in turkey and salmon, etc.

In addition, to personal bias, I think eating meat is better than eating only vegetables simply because I find it tastier.
