Today, is the first day to start my internship in LCB Tour Sdn Bhd, which located nearby my house around 5 minutes to reach there.
The early morning, I had been arranged to follow the senior Yii Wen and she was briefing with me about the management of company, some colleagues, job scope and some operation of the company. This is a big company because it is no only for travel tours, they also have their own transportation services from south to north bus services that are KKKL.
I am newbie, so she arrange some paperwork for me to familiar the company.
I will learn more than I can.

LCB have differentiate the department which are inbound depart and outbound depart. I had been arrange for morning session which learn in inbound depart and maybe in afternoon learn in outbound depart.
I had to alert about the schedule of Batu Pahat to Singapore Sentosa (RWS) daily routine and also Batu Pahat to Genting (RWG) daily routine. I need to memories all schedule in case when customers call in ask or book the seat.
This is quite busy day because there are so many call from customers. All order by internet and also need to record down I also learn about how to arrange the seat for customers.

Today I had learn about how to booking the seat from internet by LCB system. Quite easy to understand and use it but must alert for no error booking and wrong key in customers details.
After that, noon session, the outbound depart leader Yii Wen, teaching me about how to key in the customers information who apply the visa to China. The system is GS which record all the customers who apply the Visa to China.
So I had to scan the passport details and key in the customer detail one by one.

Today, I help my senior to send the confirmation message to all the customer who booking the seat to SG and also Genting. This is inbound depart daily job scope which to make sure all the booking had make and customers can confirm throughout the message about their gather time and place.

Today, I help senior to reply all the message from the watapps, wechat to booking the seat to SG or Genting. I also tried to use the system for booking the ticket. One of challenge is booking the seat for customer who going to Genting from Yong Peng. Because I need to reserve the booking by system, after the customers make the payment, I need to cancel the reserve and buy it. It must do it carefully to avoid any error. For example: booking error because system down, customers cancel last minutes and so on.
Noon, I continue key in the customers visa document to the system GBS. The system very down cause I can't done it early and keep waiting loading pages.

Today, I had learn about how to booking Genting Hotel Room for customers. We must make sure the customers details which are : RWG member or non-member, IC, Contact number, Date, How many people. After that, by using the system to booking the room, get the answer from Genting First World Hotel, Confirm with customers whether have room or no, making the payment, and guarantee the booking.

Everyday, our office full of ring ring which call from customers to ask about the travel information and so on. We had to record down customers details if the person in charge busy or no around. We had answer the call time by time, help the customers transfer the call to the person in charge. We also need to face to face with the customers when the customers walk in to office. Principle: solve customers problem is our main jobs.

There are so many little things to be careful avoid any error and wrong booking. So I had to check always to avoid those error.Morning, I had help customer booking seat to Singapure and Genting. After that, tell them the departure time, bus number, and seat number. This to be confirm to the customers their booking really make and remind customer would be late to take the bus.
LCB have a lot of inbound one day trip, senior need to survey the destination and make the trip to customers.All the trip will based on customer budget and need. Today, I continue key in the customers data.

Today my senior teach me about how to use the ticketing system.
Before I only know how to use the system for booking or cancel booking. Senior teach me about how to make a new bus ticket seat to customers. I also learn about how to transfer the seat when customers request change seat or transfer the seat to the new bus time seat. Besides that, I also learn about how to block the website because they won't give customer online booking ticket before the actual day. This is to avoid we missed the booking of customers and the tour leader missed customer.

Today I had to double confirm to the booking hotel room status. When customer request help them booking the hotel room, after we booked the room, we must check it out it is the room available or reject by First World Hotel Genting. After the room is confirm booking, I need to inform customers to come our office to make the payment. If reject, I also need to inform customers and ask them for change the date.

Today senior teach me about how to count the agent commission. Their commission can be divided many parts. It was so confusing. Every agent have complete the paperwork then we just can count their commission. We also need to confirm all money are accurate because the bus booking fees payment is paid on the spot when the customer take the bus. So we need to count the exactly amount of number customer who take the bus and also the money .

Sometimes we had to face some customer complaint about the services. Today, we received customers complaint say about the leader of bus who bring customer to Singapore, the customer told us the leader no wait her because she is late only 5 minutes to take the bus. She had tried call the leader to wait her but the leader unwilling. She was very angry and scold to us about the irresponsible of leader. Our manager arrange her to take another bus to back. After the explanation of leader, my manager realize is the customer problem because she late of 10 minutes without any inform. We had no choice to face this kind of unreasonable customers. 😔😔

My colleagues keep briefing and meeting regarding the Matta Fair coming this Saturday and Sunday~ I no participate this time of matta fair because there have many thing that I still can't handle and understand the packages.

While everyone busy about the matta fair, I also had briefed a bit to understand some packages in case customers call then I can answer them.
One of the packages which cruises packages ( Royal Caribbean, Star Cruise, Costa Victoria) this 3 cruise are the main packages we offer to customers. One of the famous Royal Caribbean is the 3rd bigger cruise on the world. Royal Caribbean now offer very cheap price which only RM1488 (ori price RM2898)! This attract a lot of customers because the cruise very big and have a lot of facilities , adventure activity such skydiving, flow rider. The special of cruise have north star observation capsule, so customers have the chance to observe the whole ocean and cruise at the top of capsule😉

Today is Saturday due to Matta Fair , some colleagues need to help in the booth of shopping center. The cruise packages will offer include free shutbus to Singapore and insurance . So the feedback of pre Matta Fair seem like very successful. The outbound packages also offer a lot. Customer only will get a lot of benefit on this two day of Matta Fair.

Our company can't help her/ his to do the visa because Malaysia government no allow and there are only two travel agency in JB can make it :))

Today is Saturday ✌🏻️ Today customers walk in for purchase the Universal Studio Singapore (USS) ticket. We also sell the ticket of S.E.A Aquarium in Singapore. So customers no need to queue up at there for the ticket, when they reach Singapore , they can save time straight enter USS or Sea Aquarium.

I had to learn and practice to fill more form of customers who want to apply China Visa. This is because prevent we fill the wrong details and cause their application failed. Normally the important details is Ic , full name , passport number , work place , phone number. The passport also must be valid at least 6 months before its expired. We also must check it before customer apply the visa.

We will collect the China Visa application day by day , before we knock off , uncle will come and collect help us send to KL. So we will collect and tie up all passport with detail and application form together.
When uncle return the application of visa and passport , we had to make sure the passport get the visa or no. Besides that, we also have to inform customers and tell them they can come and take their passports.

Singapore have more bus way to go and back especially Friday, Saturday , Sunday always will have extra bus. So he has arrange it if have any extra bus for tour guide to bring. Another famous island in Malaysia is Pulau Tioman. We had clearly explain to customers about the boat time to reach Tioman. This is because Tioman boat departure time and return time always unstable lead to sea level conditions. Pulau Tioman also has a lot of kampung kampung. In outbound, there have many customers who apply China Visa. We need to fill in the form. One case of one customer who want to apply Multi entry China Visa within 2 years, the document she brings to us keep have problem. I am newbie so I no much clearly about the document. After give senior to check it, we find out the document left out many details; so we ask customers to bring one more new document for us. This is because the VISA CONSULAR EMBASSY of China will check very details of those document especially for the multi entry to China.

Today , senior teach me about how to help customers apply the travel insurances. There two kinds of travel insurances for customers. First is AIG and Kurnia. Kurnia Insurances is cheaper but the benefit or compensation will less than AIG. Normally walk in customers we will intro them to apply the AIG Insurances while for the group customers we will help them to apply Kurnia Insurances.
I had to understand the details of both insurances packages and their differences so I can explain to customers about the price difference and also the benefits.

The Kurnia Insurance we will always apply in group packages. Customers can upgrade if they want change the packages of insurances to AIG insurances. Kurnia is cheaper for the low cost family or individual who want to buy insurances during their trip.

AIG Insurances expensive then Kurnia Insurances. They count their insurances fees as daily or weekly. They can choose either individual or family. Family packages for the child who under age of 18 years old and the parents as well.
After customers buy the travel insurances, we will give them the file regarding the kinds of document to prepare if customers happen anything during their trip. Those documents helps customers claim the benefits and get the compensation in a short periods of time.

Firstly we will intro and explain about the travel insurances packages to the customers. After confirm the travel insurance packages, we will help customers buy through the Insurance Company System. Customers must provide the travel period, the passport, phone number and the most important is the nominees details.

One issue today, there happen a customers who bought the flight ticket , we already help he bought the flight ticket but the problem is the customers can't take flight because the counter said about there are no booking. We wondering about this issue because we already booking and the booking number already give to customers. When customers complaint about this issue, we also helped he to check immediately whether it is booked or not. Well, after we checked it, the record is the booking already make. We no sure about why the flight system there no any record of the customers. Customers was very angry but we had nothing to do about this.

Customers will call in to ask for the flight ticket price. They will provide us the departure date and return date, the destination, and the number of people going. Sometime for children under 12 years old will cheaper bit then adult flight ticket. We will help them check the cheaper flight ticket from any airline company. We will charge for the services fees and also processing fees. After customers confirm the flight ticket, we will help them buy directly. There are so many airlines around the world, we still provide the China Airlines services to help them check the ticket fly through in China.

There are so many China Visa Application everyday. The fees quite expensive when customers request to done the visa in excess way. Customers always like to last minutes to apply. The visa need 4 days working day only can done apply. Sometimes the customers will blame us about the visa need so many day to done.

We will have one tour to Bali will be departure on this 28 April. I help the senior to prepare the document such as insurances, insurances information, the itinerary of trip, the luggage information, the name tag of the luggage and so on.

We will help them to choose the cheaper price for air ticket. There have one case today about the insurances claims. One of customers who buy the insurances, after back to Malaysia, the period of insurance end but the customers happened luggage delay when he back to Malaysia. The Insurance company no give compensation due to policy don't have this benefit. So we had to explain to customers about the different of the both insurance company.

The insurance company AIG will be expensive more compare to Kurnia because the benefit that customers will gain more than Kurnia. For example: The Kurnia Insurance will close case when customers reach Malaysia from their Trip while AIG Insurance will continue to provide benefit to customers who reach Malaysia from their trip within 24 hours. Example of AIG give benefit if customers faces accident during their period from airport back to home or luggage delay. They just need keep the document such as doctor consultant report, the resit and other relevant doc.
We must understand about the two insurance company differences so when customers buy the insurance we can explain to them. When customers want to claims the benefit, we also must know what document are actually need.

For outbound session, they will update their document of tour every week regarding the reservation of customers booking the tour, the left how many number of seat, the many kind of tour in LCB. They have to update whether the tour success or closed. Normally 10 customers the tour is means success.
Sometime customer call in ask about the tour, we also able to answer them through the update tour document.

Today, one customers walk in to apply the China Visa. He is very urgent to apply the Visa because he want it on next week. Normally the processing of China Visa Application is 4 days, if customers want get the passport early, they have to apply the express services and it is costly. For urgent 2 day processing day cost RM700++. The customers angry and scold me on the spot about the Visa application too expensive. This is no my fault, the fees is follow what the rules of Visa Consular Embassy and our company no earn much on this.I explained to the customers. This unreasonable customers no have other choice and only able to apply the 4 day processing day Visa. I really want to talk about don't always be last minutes for doing this kind of document application. This is because all application is need time taken to be done.

since yesterday I make a mistake about the luggage fees. Actually every flight the luggage charge is different. My senior told me about this ask me to be careful. This is because we need to count the exact amount include flight ticket prices, processing credit card, luggage fees with different KG and so on.

today customers call in complaint about the JOGOYA + Genting trip time arrangement is no good. They have no enough time to rest and enjoy in Genting. All time very rush and they feel very tired. Besides they also complaint about one of the tour leader is irresponsible to take care the customers. Our inbound manager notice that explain to customers and settle it. We will try make it better for the next short trip. Actually this all thing we hard to estimate about it, because all procedure for check in hotel really need longer time to settle.
