induct all students to routines in the classroom.

2. Differentiated instruction to the 4 students-- reminders that they

would be attended to when the rest are involved in writing task. In the

mean time, 4 students can be provided with alternative task to engage

while Mr English addresses the rest of the class. Until the gap between the

students are closed, the 4 students should received a differentiated

task that suits their ability and readiness.

3. Use positive reinforcement-- praise the 4 students when they do

something right.

4. Assign each of the 4 students to a buddy who is strong at writing so

they would be able to catch up with the rest. This would also ensure they

feel integrated into the group.

5. Brainstorming activity to be conducted for entire class-- and group the 4

students with the rest of the class.
