I use technology all of the time - as a teacher in the classroom and as a leader of teachers (my current role). I am not sure why we are in this training. Feels kind of like you are "dinging to the choir". 6/20 pre-workshop

Perhaps there is a way to improve the use of technology - I mean, even training adults I catch myself saying, " We already taught them that. Why are we going back to retrain them?". 6/20 am

Maybe it is not only the training that we do. Perhaps the implementation piece must be revisited. Perhaps the model for answering questions about the reports we teach is about as archaic as T/F quizzes. Perhaps it should be more relative than that. 6/21 am

Watching teachers deliver and using the TIMO I can see how I would change things to have a better outcome. Training and buy -in (involving everyone in the growth plan is the key). 6/21 pm

Its much easier to tie in what we learned in the teacher version when we sit through the admin version. It is very much tied into the Marzano framework and works well with the Marzano observational model. 6/22 am

Trying to fit things into the TIMO and figure out where things land is difficult. Like Marzano there is much discrepancy. Keep on drilling down into the TIMO and its explanations - the more you practice the easier it becomes. 6/22 pm

As we wrap up the class I am pleased with the fact that ideas are running through my head - how to share, how to get buy-in, how to improve student learning when the use of technology is improved. 6/29

As I work through the class there are eye openers - the technology we utilize the most is that which appears lowest on the TIMO (at least for the way we use it). As a group we are modifying one of our lessons we teach this week to add technology that will help our adult learners with the lessons we have for them. 7/1

We modified the class we taught in EDW SKILLS. Not only did the participants have more fun - but the feedback at the end was much better regarding the length of the presentation and how they felt about using the lessons we delivered. 7/6

I would like to expand my knowledge of what is out there to enhance learning when it comes to technology. Particularly interested in those pieces that do not have cost as a limitation. I have posted reflections of the stages I went through from the beginning to the end of this course. It is in random order - but each entry is dated. One of the best workshops I have been to in a long time - produced change in my teaching practices that I have already implemented. 7/7
