         <title>Assessment methods can be either formative or summative. Thorough ongoing assessment should consist of both.                       Online quiz software such as Socrative or Kahoot are excellent tools to use for either formative or summative assessment. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Practical tasks can be a very useful assessment method and in conjunction with digital assessment tools (such as tablets) can provide evidence of practical achievement.&nbsp;<br>Discussions are also a useful formative or summative assessment method and can be used for a variety of subjects and topics.<br>A controlled task can also be a digital literacy assessment method.&nbsp; WEST is also an assessment method conducted under controlled conditions. This initial, diagnostic assessment tool is new to me (I have not used it yet). &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
