The key to facing an end is to recognize what is actually ending. Most endings are not absolute and thus allow for interaction after. My time at GS may be coming to an end but that is not the end, the community will remain and so will my desire to come back.

I think this year is especially hard because it does not give us seniors the closure that we had anticipated. People often don't respond well to change, especially when it's not anticipated. For me, I'm in the process of adapting and coming to terms with the fact that this is the closure that I will receive. It's not easy, but I'm getting there.

I'm trying not to focus on how this year is ending, and instead all that brought me here. In a lot of ways, this all feels like one big circle; I'm back where I started. But Remembering all that has happened and how I've grown encourages me for the possibility of the future. It's difficult to find closure after all I have been through at this school, and I hope to some day find it. Now please leave me to read in peace

I think the largest obstacles many of us have/are/will face is coming to terms with what could've been due to this pandemic and how all our goodbyes are not what we hoped for them to be. Then again, are goodbyes ever what we hope for them to be? I think dwelling on the fact that our experiences didn't end the way we would've liked them too is not a good allotment of time, rather, we should appreciate the fact that we believed our journey deserved a special ending.

I hope that eventually I will end up where I started. Freshman year was definitely the happiest I've been and I hope to return to that sense of happiness as I continue learning more about myself and others around me. I feel like having such a small class really made me understand everyone who was here. I will miss this class, but I am happy I got the experience of learning TOK!

I haven't quite processed the ending of this school year/the ending of high school. As such, all of these goodbyes have not hit me emotionally yet (if that makes any sense). it is certainly odd ending high school like this (everything online)- it makes it kind of less emotional (at least for me).
I am excited to start college but I will miss this chapter of life.

Good luck in the future everyone! Wish you all the best : )

I think this ending had to be the biggest plot twist that I have ever actually experienced, and it honestly feels like a fictional story. Through everything I’ve learned more about myself and those around me. I think with this ending I’ll probably stay connected with the younger students at GS since I didn’t get a formal goodbye. Someone said that GS class of 2020 would be the seniors who never left. And even though we are moving on, I really think that c/o 2020 has a special bond.
